Game Description
Kill all the enemies! Charge the portal! Bring the Mimic back home!
How does your game tie into the theme?
A chest-shaped mimic can absorb enemies to regrow lost body parts. Tentacles, eyes (arms and a powerful jaw were also planned). In this way, the Mimic is "assembled".

Definitely one of the better looking games i've seen so far - I get the kind of gameplay you were going for but I feel what this is lacking is player feedback. Enemies are also generally really unforgiving; wording is a bit unclear in how the mechanics are supposed to work. Hitboxes are also pretty unclear.
I needed a tutorial. I thought my left-click button wasn't working. Hard to tell if my tongue was attacking. I am Deaf, so not sure if there was sound informing people that left-click is indeed working. The enemies run so fast that I am not sure how to get better.
I love challenge, but I seems not ready for that big one :)

It's just that I can only pick up two of the weapons dropped and the rest glitch out :( fun otherwise
I really like the art, and the concept is pretty cool, but man is this game hard lol. I think just slowing down the enemies by a lot would really help, there doesn't really seem to be a way to not take damage once an enemy sees you.
Overall, it's a cool game though! I just wish I could play more of it lol.

Brilliant art but way too hard. At least for players like me - can't even overcome the 1st enemy, which feels unrewarding.

So fun! The Hotline Miami take is pretty well-handled in such a setting! Playing as a mimic is stupidly smart and the art is GREAT! But the dnb soundtrack though... FIRE.

The game looks great, the graphics are top notch. As for the game, enemies notice you wayyy too early and are unforgivingly quick! I found myself clicking as fast as possible to try and not to die to an enemy shooting from off screen. I think it would have been cool if you could have taken the form of a chest to avoid enemy detection.

I really like the idea of playing a mimic, I think the theme could have been leaned into a lot more. The enemy detection radius is enormous and I would often get killed with out even seeing where the enemy came from because they move so fast. I did find that if you just spam click to can chomp through everything. Presentation is great. Well done on getting it done.
