ended up stuck on the "let us barter", where i could buy new bottles, but the character was invisible, and there was no way to move past that "dialogue".
but i managed to play a bit up to that point, and had fun! visually and musically stunning jam game!
Art and user interface is really top knotch. This submission is very visually appealing. I love the detail that’s in the instruction booklet. Took a brief moment to figure out what I had to do but wasn’t too bad after I realized you can just throw stuff in the pot and see what happens. :)
The art and music are top notch!! Did well mostly aside from a comment 'Do better next time'... whoops hahaha
Great game!! :D
Love the arty and music!
The theme is interesting. I would love to see some animation on the left screen.
Good job!
Game has quite the polished art, music and vibes. Sad that I couldn't properly zoom out to play it right. I did fool around with the mechanics, making a green bar by sheer luck and yeeting everything into the foundry, so that was fun. And bouncing rocks on top of rocks.
Played, like you said, we do have similar games. Love to see how people design the same idea pitch. Though ran slow and game window was huge so I had to zoom out. Had fun though.
The art is astonishing and the music is great, but it's a shame I can't play properly because it doesn't fit in the screen.
Although the little part I could play I found it really interesting. Good game!
Like others I had trouble with lag at first. I tried it on my laptop with a modern graphics card and it runs a lot better but it doesn't fit in the screen. Most of the customer conversation box is cut off.
Besides the issues I love the music and art style. I found myself just hanging out listening to the background music for a while.
The mechanics fit the theme well. Overall nice job and look forward to what other games you make in the future!
I'm glad you enjoyed! I found myself coding while having a debug build running because the mood was really chill!
At first it took some time to figure out what I was doing, but once I read through the book I was sailing. Really fun game, I really enjoyed looking up the mineral and thinking about combinations related to what the customer asked for. I did get stuck on buying reagents and I couldn't find a way forward. Amazing work.
Yeah, sadly we couldn't remove some last minute bugs in the game and we had a lot of issues with the HTML export. I'm glad you still liked the gameplay!
Gonna be honest, if this wasn't a submission for Godot Wild Jam 53, there's no way I would have known that it was made for a jam. The art completely blew my mind - I never would have expected something like this to be made in just 9 days. Pretty creative use of the theme, too.
At times, I was a bit confused on how to proceed, but other than that, well done!
Thank you so much! Our artists knocked it out of the park! 9 days did feel short with the ambition of the game, and we did slash a lot from the game.
Amazing presentation! I loved the attention to detail, not only in the game but on the web page as well! The game reminds me of Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator! I could definitely see myself play that game for hours. It would require a bit more work on the visual communication to convey where important things are happening, but it's not too much of an issue. Well done, team!
Thank you! That's basically how I pitched the game to the team: "Potion craft, but metals instead!" We had to make the tough call to scrap an in game tutorial in favour of a detailed game page and an in-game encyclopedia. I'm glad you liked it!
I liked the idea here! Sadly it didn't work at my resolution :( but I am on a laptop! I'll try it again tomorrow on a PC :)
