How does your submission match the theme?
I tried to keep elements and actions in the game to a minimum and multi-purposed.
Stars chase you and deal damage when touching you, but they have momentum and you can manipulate their orbits with your movement.
Stars combine when they touch each other, and form a black hole when too they get big.
You and the stars can move through black holes to move between two dimensions.
When you touch a star in the opposite dimension, you eat it to get points (rather than get damaged).
Stars that have combined more are worth more points.
So starting with just you, some stars, and simple movement, I feel like I have managed to create an interesting, expressive system with opportunities for strategy and unique situations. The game benefits from the multi-purpose elements by reducing "overhead" in understanding the game and create interesting choices.
Thanks for playing, and for your consideration!

Interesting premise. The stargems don't look like "stargems". Fun once you get the hang of it.
I like the aesthetic and the simplistic core of the game. Pretty neat little idea.
Thank you!
Absolutely great game, a simple but effective concept. The game feels very smooth and had a good amount of fun.
Thanks so much!
Love the simplicity. Was a fun little game! Easy to start playing right away but hard enough to keep me challenged
Thanks, that means a lot since that's exactly what I look for in score-attack games like this!
I couldn't really figure out what stargems are at first, but i did it, and it's quite a neat game idea. Although, it's worryingly unrelated to the theme, i'm sorry to say that.
Thanks for playing, Although I'm curious why you think it's unrelated to the theme. The main multi-purpose element I think is how stars can be beneficial and harmful, and how your movement can also manipulate theirs.
There wasn't really anything that's done multiple things at once for me, but i see your point here.
Yeah I think it's a little more subtle than some of the other entries so I hope people will understand what I was going for.
