There are a number of instances of dual purpose design here. Holding the left mouse button acts as a dashing forward attack, allowing you to both attack and dodge depending on the situation. Killing enemies will also yield you energy you can use to heal yourself.

The main dual purpose design is implied by the name. The less health you have, the let your dash attack deal more damage and charge faster. This leads to situations where they player can choose either to heal themselves for the extra protection, or take a risk to deal more damage.

Great work on this game, the fact you managed to make what is essentially a rogue-lite in such a short time is quite impressive.

I do feel like combat could've been a bit more fluid, as it was very easy to get cornered and killed since you couldn't charge the sword at all. Also the mages who summoned bones felt a little bit too powerful in corridors, where you would have to wait for their attack to disappear before you could finally attack them.

All in all, you did a good job with this one!

Fun and challenging with a great creepy-cute art style. I think the execution of the theme could have been stronger.

Pretty cool entry! It's a shame that the weapon doesn't immediately begin charging when you hold down LMB early... Otherwise, the game's pretty challenging, and in a good way~ Well done!

Nice game! I actually used the stabbing mechanic to dodge some attacks, which felt good. I felt like I was moving a taaad to slow, I hated going into dead end rooms. :P

Still, really nice with the music, also the effect after you killed an enemy was really cool! Nice job. :)

this game was pretty interesting, i love that big dude that beat me senseless with the drum stick  !
