Nice take on the theme! Love how distinct every die face's special ability with different visuals. There's not much content though, I wish there was more. Endgame screen or rather lack of it was a bit confusing as well. But for a jam you made a very solid foundation, and based on your trailer I guess you want to elaborate on that idea, and it certainly has got a lot of potential. Good job!
Thanks for coming to my stream! Here's a recording in case you'd like to refer to it

How does your game fit the theme?
The main character is a dice, when it rolls, it's mood changes randomly - which gives them different abilities. This is like real life, the way we feel can impact our behaviour and all we can do is roll with it.
Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?
We used pre-existing art
Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?
We created the vast majority of the music during the game jam

The game looks and feels positive. I like the different soundtracks. I would work on movement as it is a little bit too much slippery. Also some game mechanics are not clear. For example: I would not have guessed it that I can push the barrel if it wasn't for comments in chat.
Super cute and creative idea with the mood changing mechanic. Love the fact that the music changes with it!
Idea is very interesting, liked the graphics of the dice character as well. Level design did feel a bit lacking; found it hard to understand what each dice ability was and when it would change. Also general platforming controls could be tuned, bit floaty on the jumping; just didn't feel crisp to move the character.
Cool game with cute art. The level design could use a bit of work to take advantage of the mechanics you have set up which for the most part feel good to play with. The jump feels a bit floaty. The art and music are good, good job!
A small challenge but a lot of fun!
The idea of the six different emotions is very creative.
The next features look very promising :)
Cool game! Really like the mechanics that you were able to get it, at this point you mostly need to just expand on them! Sprites are really nice! The ground pound attack is juicy! Great work!
creative and fun and it could be even more enjoyable if the controls be more smooth. well done.
Thanks for playing the game and your thoughtful feedback! Your point about smoother controls reminds me of something I read about the dev of Super Mario 64. They dedicated months to getting Mario's controls pixel-perfect. If we decide to continue this project, I'd absolutely love to see Dicey get to that place where moving them around the world is super fun and has an excellent feel to it.
Glad to hear Dicey's confused mood gave you a bit of a giggle. Thanks for sharing what you like and what you'd love to see added. We have some more level designs that we're considering adding after the jam. So, if that's of interest to you, please let me know, and I'll ping you if we end up adding them so you can check them out. Your time and feedback are super valuable, and we appreciate it.
I liked the concept, art is excellent and music is pretty moody, it fits with dice personality so good. Wish there was a little more levels :D Great job!
Interesting little platformer. Giving them different powers was interesting, though scared dice seems left out in powers.
Awesome feedback! Thanks for playing and sharing your thoughts with us. Yes, you're right that some moods seem out of power. Making that ability more helpful in potential new-level designs is something we can look into if we decide to continue on the project. Please let us know if there's anything else you think we should consider. Many thanks!
Thank you for playing the game and sharing your thoughts with us. We want to create a fun experience that feels rewarding to players, and it sounds like you'd like to see a more shallow learning curve. I'm glad you brought this up, and If there's anything else you think we should know to help us improve, please feel free to let us know.
Graphics and Music was Amazing. But it was too short to end.
Hey there - thanks for playing and letting us know about your experience with it. As Thetos already mentioned, you did win (Yea! Nice job!)
If we continue developing the game, we'll make that clear; sorry for leaving ya hanging! *Funny side note:* My husband's a QA test, and recently he had a chance to try it out. When he got to the end, he refused to be stuck... and decided to keep hitting dash until he fell off the screen... xD
If you're interested in trying it out with updates, please let us know, so we can give you the proper victory screen you deserve!
I enjoyed the graphics and appreciate the gameplay. It needs some polish and bug fixing.
I got pretty confused reading about the forms and figuring out what they did.
But it is fun. Good job!
