Really unique, and an impressive amount of mechanics for a 48 hour jam! I also enjoyed the cute presentation and the little dialogue lines in game. I sometimes found it a bit hard to wrap my head around everything going on - maybe a bit more instruction in game could help.

Very nice job!

thanks for the feedback! If we pick this game back up later we can add in some in-game text or graphic to let the player know more actively going on instead of figuring out on your own, so thanks for letting us know!

this is one of the few entries that are unique so far.

thanks! We really tried to come up with a concept that was outside of the box...while being inside a box ;) haha!

I'm so glad people are giving love to my little dice boy!  Poor guy was stuck in my sketchbook for a whole year before finally getting his game. Thanks for the review! :D

Really fun and polished game with lots of variety. Looks good and the little touches like the enemies speaking are nice. It seemed a bit too easy, I was able to survive pretty much indefinitely.

I must be bad at games because I haven't been able to break a hiscore of 12,000 lol

Thanks for the comment! We wanted to go back in and tweak the enemies to be a bit more aggressive/fast, but didn't quite have the time, so you're definitely spot on.

Cool game! I love the art style and the concept! A thing I think could improve it a lot is some sort of sound and visual effect when you take damage, becouse in the middle of the action becomes a bit unclear. A thing I liked so much is the satisfying feeling when you can keep up the momentum. Overall it was a fun and enjoyable experience :)

Developer

Thanks! I am big on explicit player feeback, and player knockback was something I wanted to implement but didn’t have the time.

The graphics were phenomenal. The music fit. The spin attack was wonky but when it worked it was amazing.
In the future if you continue to work on it, and give it some polish. I can see being very satisfying to play.

Thank you for the feedback! It definitely has some wonky bits, but I'm glad it just seems to need polish and not an overhaul!

Fun game, a bit chaotic at times but that definitely seems to be by design. Love the art and presentation as a whole, really creative

Developer(+1)

thank you so much! Yeah we definitely had to reel in the chaos a bit toward the end but I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

Characters talking is such a cute little detail. The loading screen looks awesome. Nice gameplay, hit register feels a bit off tho

Developer

thanks! Tweaking the hitcolliders was one of the things I was scrambling with at the end, and even then I didn’t get it as concise as I would have liked
