cute game! the card game aspect of it was a neat twist and the games were fun and quick to learn. liked making the little guy run around hehe.

wish i could see the pet's stats so i know how much health it has and what stats to improve. also i think there might be too many discard cards in the deck because many times i'd have multiple discards in my hand at one time.

super impressive and my favorite game to play of the jam! love the poco inspo :D had lots of fun with all of the minigames too and maxed out the deco. heres my highscores:

I second this. I like how approachable the current 2 categories are rather than just skill based, but the lack of an overall game play category basically makes it so the highest rated are the ones who are either most similar to the game or least similar to the game. Just adding a 3rd category of best balanced or most enjoyable to play or even simply "best game" as rulric put it, would help with awarding those who deserve extra recognition for their work.

the fact you have to cycle through the menu with A and D feels just like a tamagatchi! and the kitties are so cute! I definitely keep killing the cats tho D: I'm not sure what im doing wrong or what the ghost means

very professional looking with the sleek UI and page design :o had fun poking around with the little guys and watch them go through their different states hehe~

got a bit lost on how some things functioned like the breeding and fertilizing process but this really shows some promise! looking forward to seeing what you do next :D

very cute game! i love that theres a voiceover. would be cool if there were subtitles when it speaks because i almost didnt catch it.

also the sorting game was fun and i definitely locked in too hard but it went on a bit too long. if it were a minute long i think the minigame would have more replayability

overall really good work for a tamagatchi-like :D splash screen was a nice touch too. i should incorporate that in the next jam i do 🤔

Thank u for letting me know. I added the full screen button now

thank you so much! Yeah the Crows had a last minute tweak to make them harder. I guess I made them a little too OP lol. I'll probably slow them down or add some sort of visual cue before they enter the scene rather than just an audio cue. Thank you for letting me know!

Hehe thanks! Im definitely spoiled to have had such an amazing sound designer so that I could put more time and thought to little gameplay cues like that.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I havent really thought too much about the buildings perspective so I appreciate you bringing it to my attention

Thank you for playing! Glad you like it ☺️💕

YOOOO Nice!

really fun once i actually read the description and got the hang of it lol! the rearview mirror is an amusing touch, too. I feel like the yeti could cost a heart rather than immediate game over, especially with how quickly he catches up to you, or worse if he spawns right in front of you out of the blue.

hehe i had way too much fun playing around with this. i dont even know who i drew. maybe his name is drew!

anyway, I think this was a super fun twist! i loved the UI design to make it reminiscent of old microsoft icons.

love the cutscene at the beginning. sets the scene and explains the end goal very well and its cute to run along with your friends. gameplay starts to get very monotonous after a certain amount of carrots though. could use some variation in types of obstacles or terrain. or at least less carrots to collect before reaching the next level

maybe I'm just biased because I love me a good cryptid game, but I was so excited to get to play the sasquatch when I saw it in the discord!

I do wish there was an extra layer of collecting things or trick shots so that not only is there an incentive to move more, but when you do play with a 2nd player, there's something to compete against.

very charming game! love the touch of sfx and ui fx with the start and gameover screens too

Took a while to figure out how to start and figure out where I was supposed to go, but then once I did I had fun testing out all the trick shot areas. Is there supposed to be an end-game condition or goal?

Very reminiscent of the original ski-free but I feel like I can control this skier much better. I wish there was a score in the game over screen so I know how well I did each run.

Thank you!!! Im glad you enjoyed playing :D

Thanks for the feedback about the player. Ill note it down for a future patch 🫡

Noted about the speed. Ill see if i can tweek it after the voting period. Also, the poppies are actually an obstacle to keep the player from skirting along the edges! I can see the confusion since it is a flower, but the only thing the player should be collecting is gold.

!!!!! Thank you sm 💕

Noted about the camera bounds for the next update 📋 Thank you for the feedback!

As long as you're not redistributing/reselling the assets, you can use them for whatever kind of game. Just make sure to credit me somewhere in the game/desc 😎👍

Yeah thats totally okay! Good luck! :D

lmao thank u for the love! Maybe on a day off I can see where another 12 hours of development can get me 😈😈😈

🤣🤣🤣🤣 the nominations will be endless

yes! Feel free to use this with credit :)

Thank you! 💕

sorry I didnt see this until now! you absolutely can use this for any future game jams though <3 These are free assets for that exact reason :D

( ^3^)っ •°~♡

thanks for the feedback! If we pick this game back up later we can add in some in-game text or graphic to let the player know more actively going on instead of figuring out on your own, so thanks for letting us know!

thanks! We really tried to come up with a concept that was outside of the box...while being inside a box ;) haha!

I'm so glad people are giving love to my little dice boy!  Poor guy was stuck in my sketchbook for a whole year before finally getting his game. Thanks for the review! :D

thank you so much! Yeah we definitely had to reel in the chaos a bit toward the end but I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

Very cute turnbase game! I love the concept of the lucky cat. and the little animation of the hand going down really sells the character. I do wish there was some sort of limit on the soothe tho as I didnt have the strategize the use of my fortune or blight. but very charming game still :D

so cute! i love cat so i play cat >:3c had trouble getting precise movements since there was a bit of movement delay so responsiveness is probably the most important critique. otherwise so cute and i love being cat with gun <3

IM SO STOKED ITS A DICE GACHA GAME AHAHA! I recently got so into gachapon machines so oh my god ur game gave me so much joy upon playing!! I do wish there was some sort of sound effect letting you know when u used the gacha machine because i didnt realize i had even rolled until i was out of tickets haha!

Yeah... thankfully I simplified to 3 poses per character and roughly 3 emotions per pose making the work more of a steady process. But yeah 9 total emotion for 7 whole characters is rough... glad most of that is behind me now 😅
