It looks fun but fullscreen would not work in your application making each puzzle total number random for me.

Developer(+1)

Weird. I did disable fullscreen mode at one point when I was testing it out and didn’t remember to change it back. Sorry about that.

Love this puzzle-platformer game. Well designed. However, as others have mentioned, the controls are a little inconvenient. Not sure if the rolling was intended to play a part in the difficulty of the game but it's a bit of an inconvenience. Would be smoother if you just added a jump button. I kept rolling into pits throughout the game XD. Furthermore, the change in pip color could be a little more obvious, took me a while to understand the game because I didn't see the missing pips. Besides that, overall, it's a great game. Enjoyed it very much :)

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it! And yeah, I agree with most of your feedback. If I ever develop this concept further, I definitely have some rough edges to smooth out! :)

Thanks for checking it out!

Fun puzzle game. really well designed.

Developer

Thanks so much! Glad you liked it!

Fun puzzle idea, I think the controls could be improved but levels are well designed.

Developer

Yeah, there’s definitely room for improvement. I’m tempted to continue working on it as it was a lot of fun making it. Thanks for trying it out!

Once you wrap your head around the mechanics it is a fun puzzle game.

Submitted(+1)

At first it is little bit confusing the game has many mechanics that hurts your brain in first playthrough,

but once you understand, it turns out to a pretty cool puzzle game, nice work buddy!

Developer

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!

I like the concept, really similar to my game. One thing I have to say is that in level three I can only roll a 1 or 2 and I can't push the 3 die in the pit, not sure if this was intended and I'm just not getting the solution.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Yeah, I should have had a message explaining that the die doesn’t go up to 6. To push the 3 into the pit, you just need to use the take/give pip mechanic to rearrange the faces you do have. If I had more time to work on it (I know, the story of all the games at the jam) I’d have had more puzzles where you do eventually go all the way up to 6.

Thanks for checking it out!

A unique take on a dice-puzzler, it would be fun to see this expanded. Some of the puzzles were frustrating to figure out.

very creative puzzle mechanic! i like the aspect of giving and taking pips a lot, well done!

Submitted

Really creative idea! I had a hard time seeing that some of the pips were grayed out on the dice at first and was confused, but once I understood everything it had some really creative puzzles. Well done

Developer

Yeah, that’s something I would have liked to change if I had more time. I did experiment with it at first, but didn’t like what I had and then didn’t get to come back to it.

Thanks for checking it out!

fun mechanic, I think it could be very interesting in some more complicated scenarios too!

Developer

Yeah, one of the things I had hoped to implement was some other dice that could only be added to or only be subtracted from which would open up a bunch more interesting scenarios. Alas, I ran out of time.
