Idea is nice and was a fun time. Could use some tweaking on the damage as it takes a bit too many bullets per enemy and more distinction of the enemy types to create more variance.

Good job on the game!

Will take note of that! Thank you so much for your feedback and for playing the game!! :D

Woah! Cool concept and mechanics! The presentation could be improved upon, but for a jam game, it's pretty great. Nice job!

Thank you for your feedback! Yea I totally agree with the presentation. Should probably start developing my art skills XD. Thank you for much for checking it out! I appreciate it :D

Hey I think you had a nice thing going, with some more tweaking and polish, it'd be a fun game! The shooting might be a bit slow tho.

Either way, congrats for submitting! Also, 46 seconds before the deadline, living the danger haha

Hi!! Thank you for the feedback and congrats, much appreciated :D. Will take note of the feedback regarding the shooting! XD yea, I wasn't very hardworking throughout the jam and majority of the game was finished in the last few hours. I hope I'll be more focused in the future.  XD Thank you so much for trying out my game, appreciate it!

Unfortunately, the wave counter does not work because I forgot to update it after every wave. Please do count the waves yourself, just increment it by 1 whenever you see a dice roll. I did not have time to playtest the game so it may very well be riddled with bugs XD. Also, do take note that the .exe file you should open is found under dist -> main -> main.exe. Thank you so much for browsing through and taking the time to discover little games like mine :D.

Hey, so I tried running your main.exe file from the command line since that wasn't working by clicking and I got the error message:

Error loading Python DLL 'C:\Users\majed\Downloads\Fate Of The Dice\Fate Of The Dice\build\main\python38.dll'.

LoadLibrary: The specified module could not be found.

Do you think you have any way around it? If you do, I'll be glad to test your game dude! 😁

Developer

Thanks man , I appreciate you trying out my game. It's my first jam and I never thought people'd try out my lousy game XD. According to stackoverflow, the problem may be with you trying to open the main.exe in the build folder instead of the dist folder. Was that the problem? Do let me know, and thank you for trying my game :D

OKAY!!!!!!! NOW IT WORKS! 🤣

For anyone wondering, to open the game you have to open: "Fate Of The Dice/dist/main/main.exe"

That's a nice entry by the way! Congrats dude! 👏

Developer

XD Thank you so much for trying out the game :D

Couldn't open it.

Developer

Perhaps you may have opened the .exe file in the build folder instead of dist? The actual .exe is inside dist.

Yes that was the problem, I should have read the instructions. Sorry about that.

The game is simple, but fun. I like the variety of enemies!

Developer

No problem! Thank you so much for playing the game :D !!
