Very polished, nice game feel! Only comment would be that the win condition especially with the yellow balls is not clear, but other than that i really liked it :)
Seems someone had a very similar idea to ours ;)
Its very well done! Especially in style and game feel. The way it looks, being able to push the menu around, the feel of moving around and running in a circle around the objects. Its all really well done and makes the game feel very playful.
The puzzle design seems good, simple enough to understand, complex enough to be challenging, and there’s probably a lot more complexity waiting I didn’t get super far into it.
I finally get what it feels like when a dog chases its own tail! Pretty wild—there I was, frantically chasing after my snake tail. Surprisingly, this game stirred up a mix of frustration and a little bit of anxiety—which, honestly, was kind of a good thing here.
Very nice and challenging game, I enjoyed it very much.
the visual style is pretty cool and the puzzles are fine i just wish the snake was just a tiny bit longer so that biting your tail wasn't so tight of a timing.
there are quite a few games (including mine) about ouroborosing, making it physics based instead of on a grid is a very good twist on the format
from my understanding of the win condition i think it would help if the green and yellow circles also had a marking that showed rotation, just not directionally, like a white square or something
Pretty fun idea, and the presentation feels quite clean and polished, I've been stuck at level 5 with the movable yellow orb and the snake like circling itself really slowly for some reason compared to previous levels. Overall a pretty enjoyable game!
Really cool concept! I definitely loved your theming and how simple all the art was, it honestly felt like a super polished game! The levels were a challenge but managed to get through all of them :)
This was really fun,
interessting how the theme of ouroboros can itself spawn so many different interpretations
This is a wonderfully fluid take on the Ouroboroslike. I really enjoy how squishy and wriggly your snek is :)
i enjoyed this a lot!! would love to solve more puzzles with this concept 10/10
I liked it a lot! Very creative use of rope physics! :D
But at first, I found it difficult to understand that I needed to "stretch" to reach the tail!
Maybe a bite animation that moves your head forward would have been easier to understand? I don't know!
PS: The game saves, which is cool, but I cannot find a way to restart from level one...
Very creative! Fun art and squiggly snake effect :)
Really clever concept and some really great work on the character controller, the snake moves very intuatively. A great entry!
Very cool idea but I could not get past stage one. I would curl the spinning circles the right way but could not reach my tail
Sorry I tried again and didn't see the tutorial. Managed to figure it out and ohh was it 10x better than what I expected. It looks very cool when it grabs its tail and spins itself around like a conveyer!
Really cool idea, I loved the music, and this is surprisingly addictive! I found it really easy to understand and still challenging to pull off! :D
Took me a while to understand what I needed to do - but its very cute and the physics are fun and well executed
very cool take on the "eating your tail" idea. took me little bit to figure it out but once i did the puzzle solutions felt very pleasing .
I think mouse controls would suit this game much better than 8-directional movement, since you have to move in circles
You are right. Unfortunately I only had a laptop with a trackpad when I made this :)
But the best way to play it is actually using a gamepad!
Cool take on both the Ouroboros and the Snake genre. Took me a few to pick it up, but once I figured it out? Yeah, really fun. Controls felt good. Audio was fitting. And one of the best interactive title screens I've ever seen. Really nice job all around.
