Cool art and interesting idea! Everything felt really solid. Of course, it's a jam so time is limited, but after getting the hang of things, I was definitely interested in some more variety in the enemies and strategies involved.
Overall nice idea and execution--good job!
very good game, really cool art, music and sounds!! love how it feels like a ds game
really creative mechanic, loved it! I like how the node placement incentives certain strategies, but you have to update and try different combinations depending on the situation. My only complaint would be a lack of visual feedback of the 'event horizon' - most of the time I'm too overwhelmed by the other things and feel like I died randomly. The shields also felt a bit finicky, and asteroids seemed to pass through sometimes. Small upgrades like increasing number of allowed nodes, or maybe maintaining two loops at once could probably make this even more fun.
Very interesting idea. I wish I was better at the game, but I thought it was super cool.
Fun gameplay, great presentation, and really interesting use of the theme!
That was a pretty good game!
Loved the creativity and while it did take a while to figure out whats going on but after that I loved it :D
Took me a while to figure out what was going on but when I got ahold of things it went smoothly, great art also! premise is also very cool.
Super fun game! Really impressive work for such a short game jam. And I love how creative your "loop" mechanic is
Very nice concept, good artwork and music!
I really liked this game. When I read through the tutorial, it was a bit overwhelming, but you catch onto the controls fast when actually playing, and the managing of different parts of your ship make it quite interesting.
A little nitpick I have is, that I think it'd flow better if you just had to hover over the engine again and that forms the loop, but currently you have to put the end *exactly* on the engine (and sometimes I was a bit too much right to it so my loop didn't form.
Oh and a slight bug, but the title screen theme didn't play for me when I started the game for some reason. After going back from the tutorial, the title screen theme played though (the music is pretty good btw) : )
Does a lot with simple mechanics!Love the background music
cool concept! I like the game mechanics, art style and audio!
Takes a bit of time to get challenging, and when it does get challenging it gets way too hard way too fast. Other than that I think the game is fun! Awesome :p
As someone who is obsessed with the idea of hot wiring space ships I enjoyed this very much. It is very satisfying to pull off a fast connection and I can see that this probably has a high skill ceiling . Only hiccup I had was that I did not understand why the wrench icons were appearing and disappearing and what I was suppose to do with them. Congrats on submitting!
this was super fun! I was a little confused at first on how to do things, but once i got the hang of it it was super fun! the loop idea is super creative, and the music and sound effects helped add the the aesthetic! so cool
Looked simple but is a surprisingly complex game loop! There's a lot of replayability and such a unique concept :) great work!
Really nice concept and executed wonderfully! Would like to be able to go back to the main menu at the end of a run as I totally skipped the tutorial then had to refresh the page XD
Really addicting really fast, big fan!! Scratches an itch in my head really well
Fun concept with awsome artwork!
Such a unique way to incorporate the loop concept, and love the idea of the trade off between different systems. Good work!
