Hey there! So I just finished playing your game and I thought it was amazing! The pixel art and music is probably some of my favorite aspects of this game, I think the music fit really well and the pixel art overall just felt polished. I appreciate that you added a bit of a tutorial as well (showing the controls in the game) which  I think is great :D. The combat feels very nice and I did like how the boss's attacks were telegraphed because if I'm not mistaken there's a certain sound when  you hit the boss that plays right before it attacks right? I thought it was great, because it never felt unfair then on the player!
Here are some points of improvements:
- When the boss starts attacking for some reason the SFX gets way too loud and almost sounds like it got bass boosted for some reason. I think without that effect or maybe just toning that down would be great!
Other than that, I thought this was an amazing game jam entry so good job! :D

Thank you so much for playing our game! Im glad you liked the atmosphere and what we were going for :D. I didn't know about the mouse sensitivity issue, we should probably increase the range then😅. And for the reload weapon automatically, that's a great suggestion! Thanks for letting us know that :D.
Thank you again for this very detailed review ! Best of luck to you too as well. :D

Thank you for playing our game! I did thought I added some screenshake effects and sound effects when the golem hits the ground😅.
The weapon keep shooting during reload was a complete overlook, so thanks for pointing that out :D. Also I didn't know about the whole collision overlap thing as well😅😅. But thanks for giving your feedback :D

Hey there, so I played this game and unfortunately I had no one to play it with so I wasn't able to judge it fully gameplay wise. However I do like the concept a lot, I think its great idea and a foundation for something solid. The movement felt solid and the minimalistic art style of the players was great.
Here are some points of improvements / future suggestions:
- The game lacks SFX and game feel overall, I think shooting the player should have SFX tied to it, and maybe some particle effects + screenshake to really convey the feeling of being hit.
- A tutorial would always be nice, teaching both players the controls of course.
- I couldn't figure out how to do the whole knockback feature for some reason😅, I shot the player but I never got knocked back.
This is just a personal preference, but it seems like the battle takes place in space, so for the movement specifically adding lesser friction and making the player drift in that direction might be cool? This of course is if the battle takes place in space.
In the future you could always add more bullet upgrades, health upgrades, fire rate upgrades, etc. This game can be expanded on to something great! So good job on the game jam entry and good luck for the future of this game!

Thank you for playing our game! Glad you liked the shooting system and dubs :D

Congrats on finishing your first game! That's a great milestone, you do learn a lot of stuff when you finish a first game :D. You definitely put a lot of thought into the design so that's amazing. And yes testing is super important because you never know how it plays with people who have no idea how it was made. Well Goodluck on fixing these issues and your next jam!

Yes the game has no ending, it just keeps going on, hence the name, no end in sight😅. And thank you for playing our game :D

Hey there! Thank you for playing our game. The movement abilities for you and the player being the same was actually intentional😅. The inspiration was supposed to be the boss V2 from ultrakill actually. Thank you for letting us know about the tutorial glitch :D.

Thank you for playing our game! I didn't know you could still fall of the map, I thought I fixed that😅 but thank you for letting us know of all the bugs.

Yeah I understand the webGL optimization😅, and also the map not being able to be added, it is a game jam after all 😁.
For some reason it performs a lot better when in window mode compared to Fullscreen though, might just be my laptop.
My PC Specs:
RTX 3050
16GB RAM
12th Gen i5-12500H

Hope that helps!

Hey there, this is a cool game jam entry. It's a nice simple idea but executed well. I like the art style and the main menu music a lot. I also like how you didn't just stick to one kind of rat and spiced things up with different kind of rats. This could definitely be expanded in the future with more guns, rats, etc. I think it has great potential
Here are some points of improvements:
- One of the biggest piece of feedback I could give is the inconsistency in shooting. At first I thought the gun gets shot on where your cursor currently is. However it seemed like it shot in the general direction? But then sometimes it wouldn't damage the rata when I did shoot it in that general direction and sometimes it did. So I think it would be a lot more reliable if you made the shot land on your cursor.
Other than that it's a great game! Good game jam entry and good luck on your devlogs!

This is a pretty good game! I really like the concept and the alternative interpretation of the theme! I think its great. The concept is funny and cool, the art is well done, voice acting is also hilarious and fits the tone of the game and its overall a well executed idea.
Here are some points of improvements:
- The full screen version of the browser was quite laggy and the FPS was pretty low only on the Fullscreen version
- Maybe this is just my horrible sense of navigation but I kept getting lost (even though there was a map) so maybe having a map accessible at all times might help? But that might just be a skill issue from my side😅
Other than that I thought it was a great game! So good job on this game jam entry :D

Thank you for playing my game! I'm glad you enjoyed it

This is a great game! The game feels super polished to play and fits the theme very well. I love the simplistic and minimalistic art style you went with and that art style being consistent throughout the entire game makes it feel polished. The SFX was also pretty well designed and the attacks are well telegraphed. I also appreciate the tutorial text in the main menu.

Enemy variety is another I thing I loved. In 8 hours, making these many kind of enemies is super impressive. It keep the gameplay feeling fresh and makes players think of new strategies. Like the first time you face the archer I think its great because you can't rely on just space and left click and you have to strategically aim with right click.

Here are some points of improvements I had:
- I think this game would benefit from some sort of music. It is a jam after all so consider this an post jam feedback, because the art style is already there and its amazing and adding some music on top of it would really make the experience better :D.
- This game could use more balancing. because I felt the game was a bit too easy. I think that mainly has to do with the cooldown upgrade because you can kind of spam the buttons when they're close range and kill them instantly. Not to say that's not fun, I really did enjoy just spamming buttons and destroying enemies, but balancing the story mode would be great.

Overall, superb game jam entry so good job :D

Great game! This is a simple idea but very well executed. Being developed in only 8 hours but having a full core loop is super impressive. I loved how the enemy actually learnt from what you did and came back smarter each time. That was pretty cool. I couldn't figure out how to defeat the enemy with a bounce pad on his head though. Maybe being a bit more clear on that would've helped, but other than that its a solid game jam entry so good job :D

Hey there, this is a great game! First of all this is probably one of the more narratively interesting game jam submissions and I like the whole idea of building a mask and the dual personality, it was a great way of showing that off. The combat is also pretty nice. The art style is super simple but also really cool and well done.
I also appreciate the fact that you have an in game tutorial, it really makes things clear and what to do.
Here are some point of improvements I had:
- I think the 5 second timer is way too fast, it took me a bit to actually understand what's going on, who's health bar is who. I think at the start making the timer a lot longer or just removing it completely might be better😅.
- I think SFX would really level up your game. SFX is usually a crucial part in game feel and I think just adding some simple hover and click SFX would make it feel a lot better to play! It's already smooth with the very minimalistic art style but SFX would be a very nice addition.
But yeah overall it's a nice game! So good job :D

Hey there! So I think this is a great game, the pixel art is really nice. I really liked one kind of enemy which was the red one. It was pretty clever how they follow your inputs only :D. The SFX was well done and I liked the camera shake on the dash, really gave it that juice. I also loved the start screen and how the eye follows your cursor, that was a really nice touch to the game.
Here are some points of improvements:
- There's this one level I couldn't get past and the only reason was it always sent me back to the start of the level. It's the one with many eyes and one red guy at the end. I feel like you would benefit from putting a checkpoint somewhere there because I found it really annoying to keep on backtracking and resolving the puzzles😅 and I eventually stopped there after many attempts because I couldn't figure it  out :(
- I don't really see how this fits the theme, but that's probably because I couldn't fully play it so I do apologize for that😅.
Other than that its a cool entry so good job :D.

The animations were super well done! But yeah SFX is also pretty important asw, it really levels up the game feel, but it's a game jam after all😁.

Pretty nice game! The movement is cool and the pixel art is really nice, especially the boss. I think that's probably one of the best pixel arts in the game. The music was also pretty nice.
Here are some points of improvement I had:
- I think a tutorial would be really nice, because I didn't know you could attack with J until I actually read the start menu😅. But just teaching the player simply by saying press "J" during the  game would be a great addition.
- I think camera offset in some sections would be great, because there are times where I'm jumping and I just can't see what's below me but when I move a little more down I see ground. If there's a slight down offset that'll help convey that below me isn't nothing :D.
- It would really benefit the player if you could have it be more apparent when the player gets hit by the boss. Because I didn't know whether I was hitting or not😅. So maybe some extra camera shake or some particle effects could really help.
But other than that the game jam entry was really nice so good job :D

Thank you for playing my game! I think the randomly moving screen might be because it loaded a music track in or some lag spike probably😅, so it might be an optimization issue.

Great game! The pixel art is amazing and I think its a simple idea but fits the theme well! The SFX is cool and I definitely felt my hits when it landed, so that's some great attack juice you got.
Here are some points of improvements I had:
- A tutorial would be nice. Of course it just took me one death to completely understand the controls (I didn't know right click was right hand and left click was left hand), but just a simple pointer would be nice :D.
- I think when I hover over a point it should show the radius of the attack maybe, because that would help aim a lot better because I kept missing😅.

Other than that, its a great game jam entry, so good job :D.

Amazing game! The pixel art is really well done and the visuals in general, I love the boss music and the ending is perfect. The main character is super cute and I love the cleaning mechanic with the A and D, it's just very satisfying to execute. The boss battle at the end was really well done, and I liked that you added a wave count as well. I love the idea of having the tutorial as the start screen, that was just super clever.
Here are some points of improvement:
- I think it takes a bit too long to build up to the boss fight. Maybe making it a bit shorter might help
- At the start I found the attacks a bit hard to control, especially with the Q. I would much prefer if Q did a single attack rather than a combo by just pressing it once.  But once it got to the boss fight the controls were pretty simple and overall felt great to control.
But other than that, I think it's an amazing game jam entry. I really enjoyed playing this game, so good job :D.

It's a pretty nice game! I like the monochromatic aesthetics and the movement especially with the gun felt super nice to play around with. The SFX was also pretty well designed.
Here are some points of improvements I thought would benefit your game:
- A crosshair. I think for an FPS game it's almost needed to have a crosshair so that I can aim. Because I was missing half my shots cause I didn't know which way the bullet would go😅. So a crosshair would really help your game a lot.
- A tutorial. I think tutorials are super important because at first I didn't even know you could get out of that pit and I just randomly thought of shooting the floor which launched me up. Teaching that mechanic somehow would've been great! Because the gun movement felt really good to play around with.
- I think if I shoot the ground for long enough I get launched up way high into the sky? Don't know if this is a bug or intentional though.

But yeah, after I figured out the mechanics it was a really fun game to play around. I was able to kill 50 of the enemies before dying to a crossbow😅. But overall great game jam entry :D

Great game! It's a simple but well executed idea. I thought it fits the theme really well :D. The music is super nice and I loved the middle finger when you throw them into a black hole😭, that was really funny. The pixel art is really well done and overall it seems like a super polished game. I also appreciate the tutorial, it really helps to understand the controls and how to use them so that was really well done :D. I was able to defeat the game by defeating all the heroes🥳🥳. I also liked how each of them had different roles, I think that was a really nice addition.
Here are some point of improvements:
- Your game could improve a lot with some SFX. The attacks already felt pretty decent with the camera zoom in and the amazing pixel art animation. If you added some good SFX that would really juice up the attack, maybe even throw in a camera shake for some of the attacks and that would be great!
- I think the boss would benefit from moving just a bit faster maybe? The dash is already really good but I think just a bit faster might be better.
Other than that, this was an amazing game to play and I really did enjoy playing this :D. Great game jam entry.

This is a great game. So first of all the game has some amazing visuals and animations. I love the PSX aesthetic that you went for. The objectives are pretty clear because of the green outline so that's a great addition. The overall ambience and atmosphere is also well done because of some great SFX and ambient music.
Here are some points of improvements I had:
- The camera movement I felt was way too much. My head was kind of paining sometimes because of how much the camera bobbed. Decreasing that would definitely enhance the experience of the game.
-The performance on browser is really bad on full screen. I don't know if it's just me however. It runs perfectly fine when it's not full screen though.
- I actually fell out of the map when I left the bathroom😅. So that might be a bug. And speaking of the bathroom, I think having some lights there might be better because I found it very hard to see there.

Overall it's a great game jam entry and it's amazing the work you did in such a short amount of time. So good job! :D

Yeah it's completely understandable that's it out of scope it would take good effort to add it. And you're right yeah it does get a lot easier when your characters die and if you intended that then it's perfect! So yeah good job on this game :D.

Yeah it's alright, I just really liked that door knob mechanic because it reminds me a lot of Detroit become human's actions and they just made it super satisfying and yours has real good potential and I always do love a good stealth game. I personally think tutorial should be prioritized over start screen cause if they don't understand your game it's hard to play it, but don't worry yours didn't have that issue, it was easy to understand. Goodluck on updating this game and your next game :D

That's great dude, goodluck I can def see potential with this game

Yesss I agree, that's why I made this :D

It's okay i completely understand, if I'm being honest I couldn't get any playtests during this short timeframe and I think if I did I could've made this tutorial a lot easier, and just the wall running in general. You're not missing anything here I just didn't get the right difficulty😅. Thank you for trying again though I appreciate it :D

Yeah the jump input is probably because of Coyote time like another comment mentioned, so I do apologize for that😅. I will keep this in mind for the next movement based game I made, thank you :D

Thank you for this feedback, this is really valuable. I'll be honest I thought coyote time was a 2D thing only, but I'll keep this in mind, this was my first time creating a 3D movement based game😅. Also all the other QoL features (especially the debris collision, for some reason i couldn't fix that so I had to leave it) you mention are really good points and I think it'll make this game a lot better so thank you so much for pointing all this out.

Thank you so much, I do apologize for the sensitivity😅, I should've looked at that before the jam ended but I didn't get time to playtest so I do apologize.

This is an amazing game. The art is super nice, the sound effects are also really well done. Clicking and breaking the blocks just feel super satisfying at the start and they just get better with more and more upgrades, its really addicting. I also love you put a tutorial, because I feel like a lot of people overlook how important that is so thank you for having one :D.  The music was super chill and the way the upgrades are designed are really nice, cause the first upgrade just shows you how good these upgrades are and I usually don't play clicker games but this was super good.

Overall, great game jam entry, probably one of the best ones so far. Good job :D

Really nice clicker game. I really liked the music and the art is very well done :D so good job.

Great game :D
I loved the visuals and atmosphere, it is very well done and feels super polished.  The little blobs were super cute also :D. It was really sad I had to sacrifice one of them :(

I loved the ambient SFX and the cute dialogue SFX, those were great additions to the game

The map design is also very well done because as long as I kept walking I would eventually find my way and the blobs are short enough distance from each other to keep me going.

I will say there is one problem, I think you were trying to tell a story through the blobs? The first blob was okay to understood most of it when it was just one blob, but the more blobs they were the harder it was to understand cause it felt like they were all telling something different.

But overall, this is a great game jam entry especially considering the time frame this feels super polished already so good job :D

Oh hmm , I see it might be an enemy out of range issue. I should probably make that more clear when playing the game thank you for letting me know

Nice game, really cool aesthetics and I love the effort of a start screen as well. But I noticed the game ends a bit too quickly😅.  Next jam you should prioritize gameplay over everything else, get the core loop down and then start working on the extras like a start screen, SFX, etc.

But nice attempt, it would be nice to see where this goes.

Thank you for letting me know this issue, I'll try to fix it. The coffee dash was connected to the UI on the top left, was that filled and you still couldn't coffee dash?

Really cool stealth game!
The concept is there and I can see this with a lot of potential. It was a bummer that there was no SFX but I understand it's just a jam after all. The art is really nice especially for the escape and the hand.

Here are some points of improvements:
- I think there should be a tutorial of some sorts telling me I can crouch cause I didn't know till I read the controls in the description
- This is a web only issue but making Ctrl the crouch makes you close the tab if you press Ctrl + W😅
- There was a bug where when I escaped the enemy he would block me by like constantly pushing me to a wall and that just made the other enemy tweak out for some reason, it was really funny to see that though
- The door was a very nice idea and I actually quite liked it but opening it wasn't as easy, from what I understand you made the cursor have to touch the door handle right? I think making the entire hand touch the door handle to open would feel a lot better. But its a very cool concept, when I got it, it felt really satisfying to open the door.

I think if you worked on these improvements it has good potential to be a great stealth game. But overall, it's a really nice game and I quite enjoyed playing it. :D
