Thank you for playing my game!

So for the fact that you can switch into a wall my plan is to make that platform translucent . Dunno if thatll be a good fix but ill try it out

As for the randomly going into platforms,  Im still working on how to fix that cause I dont know whats causing it😭. Its pretty random from what I see

And yes the ghost can wall jump😭 i found that mid devlopment and i decided to keep it as a secret speedrunning tool

I will definetly be updating this more🥹

It's a pretty good game! I liked the concept and the 3D modelling was done nicely and when I visited Saturn and I was at the bottom and I had to fly my way up, it kinda reminded me of the Gargantua scene from interstellar which is really cool!
The dialogue was funny, I did laugh a bit cause who is that president 😭
This game has a lot of QOLs like pointers to indicate where to actually go, the arrow sign changing in size when you are closer and all the UI is pretty well designed so great job on that!
Some feedback: It would be nice if it was more clear on how to mine, I figured it out don't worry :D but I did get stuck in the first time T_T. And I know this is a game jam so maybe the music wasn't a focus but it did get really repetitive but honestly it's a game jam so it's not meant to have top of the art music.
Overall I enjoyed the game really well done, especially for a game jam!

This is an amazing game! The polish for the sound effects and the visuals is really good for just a game jam it honestly feels like something out of a full game release!
The game is super long which I didn't expect and it does give that very creepy vibe and is super interesting
I have to say the writing is very well done and it kept me compelled and the voice acting is super well done, like that's something I would expect from a full release game.
Really great game jam entry loved it :D

Really fun game! Playing this game I thought I was getting myself into a fears to fathom horror experience but I guess not T_T. It's really well designed though and pretty clear to understand what to do.

Really fun game! Loved the stealth and I have to say the way you introduced the whole stealth mechanic is really good as sometimes games from game jams struggle to give a good tutorial but yours was great and very understandable.
Adding new mechanics like the drone was a good thing and maybe in the future you could add more but it's a really good submission for a 2 week game jam.
I will say, some music can go a long way but other than that great game!

Thank you!

Amazing artstyle and music loved it. It was a really cool concept and holy the ending.. T_T and playability was great
The minigames were super fun to play (except wordle cause I suck at it so that's on me)
I would love to see more of this

Really fun game and a unique concept. Loved the art style it looks super polished and not something you would usually see in a jam entry. The music was pretty nice as well! It took me a bit before I understood the whole placing bet mechanic but after that it was really nice.
I will say the chatting minigame is a bit frustrating in terms of how you delete the messages
But other than that a really good jam entry :D

It's a really nice puzzle platformer with a really good take on the 'world is watching you' theme.
I will say, it would be a nice additional feature to have the jump be controlled by how long you press the spacebar, cause currently the moment i hit space I instantly jump max height.
But other than that great jam entry

I will say I couldnt figure out a proper solution to going into the walls when swapping worlds so I just figured players could switch back to prevent soft locking themselves. Ill think of a better solution post game jam.

I'll also upload a gameplay video soon if you were curious to see how it ended, but thank you so much for the feedback

Thank you for playing my game! I didn't know you could get stuck there😭. Did you go into a wall?

I also added a failsafe to reset levels you just need to press P

Thank you so much for playing my game! I do appolgize for the unclarity, it was made for a game jam and I didnt have enough time for playtesters. I will fix the unclarity in the post game jam version. Thank you so much for sticking around till the end though!

Thank you so much for playing my game!

Thank you so much for playing my game! The puzzles were a bit unclear so thats on me. And thank you for the recomendation, Ill def add that post game jam. Thank you!

Thank you so much for playing my game! I also wanna thank you for this super detailed feedback, I appreciate it alot. All the critiques you mentioned: lack of sfx, more interactables, and the ui design are definelty points of improvements I plan to work on post game jam so thanks for pointing that out!

Thank you for playing my game! Im glad you got scared hehe. Ill def try to find a better footstep sound thank you for informing

Hey there! This is an amazing and well designed boss fight. The controls feel super responsive and any error done doesn't make me blame it on the game but rather my own skill. The art is also super gorgeous and looks really polished so well done on that! The telegraphs are really nicely timed and doesn't feel unfair to the player especially given the dash. The music is also pretty well done and fits the vibe.
Now one small critique I have is that it should be more evident when the player loses health, cause right now it's pretty much the same. Maybe a bigger screen shake or a sound effect plays?
This game also has a lot of potential to add extra abilities, weapons, etc. but that seems more like a post game jam goal.
But yeah, this game was amazing and I enjoyed it!

Let's go cant wait for it

INSANE GAME! For a game jam, wow. The amount of polish in this game is superb.  This was a super creative idea and the leaderboard mechanic just makes it better. The music, gameplay and especially the art was amazing. The music fit super well with the theme and the heat special effect really added a nice touch. The core gameplay loop was pretty simple to understand and really fun to play with. I will say it does get a bit too chaotic at times and I can't follow but that's just me.  Those 80 hours definitely paid off.
One of the best and most polished game jam entries I've seen so far

Hey there! Pretty cool game with a nice idea. The music fit the theme really well and I loved the art style. The tutorial was also really well done showing the player the controls. I did have a problem trying to figure out how to place the body parts on the table however, which I still don't know if I'm doing correct or not.
But other than that it's a cool game!

Hey there! This is a pretty good game and a super unique idea. It took me like 3 minutes to wrap my head around what's going on but after I got it, I gotta say it's really fun to play with. The music was pretty simple which fit the overall aesthetic and visual you were going for. Some things I probably would say for a critique is maybe during runtime we should be able to see if the position is valid or not and the upgrades could be interchanged every round. But other than that, super solid entry!

Thank you for playing my game! And no don't worry it was a game design error. I kept the third number on the floor (it was a three if you're willing to give it a shot again)
I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and I wish I could've included changeable mouse sensitivity in the time. And next time I'll keep in mind to add a crosshair.

Thank you so much for playing my game! I will keep in mind the points of improvements. I know the second puzzle might have been too vague and I apologize for that T_T. But I'm glad you enjoyed.

Alr I'll make it a new project so if people wanna play the web build they can

(1 edit)

I can yes! But where do I upload the web export? Because form my understanding I can't upload any further files during the game jam

Thank you so much for playing my game! I'm glad you enjoyed. Yep it was a game design mistake for me to place a number on the floor T_T. And the you aren't supposed to always die it's just the gameplay the person uploaded died cause they tried reading the poem and the monster spawned on them. There is a second puzzle in that room too (ring three bells in the right order), however I didn't realize I should place the poem somewhere else so the monster doesn't spawn kill you.

Hey there! This is a super cool short game that I really enjoyed playing! Really gave me Re4r vibes with the lantern.

The game core loop is pretty simple and enjoyable. I loved the ambience music and the small detail when your light runs out you hear these voices which adds a spook factor to the game. I would prefer WASD controls but surprisingly the mouse control wasn't that bad and felt nice to use.

The art of the game was super nice and felt neat! Great job on designing the pixel art of the game, loved the vibe.

Maybe one point of improvement was probably the lack of variety of ghosts as they all did the same thing and after the first 10 seconds of the wave it was pretty easy to survive, but this is just the nit picky details and that's probably something for after the game jam because honestly this is a superb entry and genuinely enjoyed it a lot.

Wow this was an amazing game! First the cutscene at the start was super cool and throughout the game I loved your art style and color palette. The music really fits the vibe of the game your going for and the SFX were pretty good!

I love the animation of the cutting heart and its super crisp and so polished it's insane for a game jam.

Now the combat at times for me did feel hard (but that might just be me) and I couldn't full screen so I kept clicking out of the game T_T. But the combat is well designed, and super satisfying. I love the screen shakes, enemy blood splatter and the SFX. The enemy variety is pretty good too. Now one feature I'd love to see is extra abilities cause that could go a long way, like multi shot, extra dash, etc.

I enjoyed this game a lot, superb entry in the game jam!

Hmm I don't know why she just didn't talk to me. Guess she hates me LOL. I'll give it another go though to see if it was just that run

Hey, so I watched the playthrough and I got to the part where the girlfriend knocks on the door but when I click E she doesn't talk like in the playthrough. She just stands there. I did go to the future and then she was knocking, in the video I don't know which time zone you went.

Thank you so much for playing my game! Ill try to make it more clear next time on the code

Ooh I'll check that out tysm for letting me know

Ahhh maybe add a visual indicator for phases! (Unless you already did then I'm blind so that's my fault)

AHH alright

Really nice game! I love that there are multiple endings and the art style is pretty cool. I love how you can interact with each character and gives it a more realistic feel.
The music is also really well done and fits the atmosphere

This is a super cool game!
Firstly the visuals, I have to say they look super polished and all the extra effects like camera shake, transitions, and animations felt super good.
Now the gameplay, I find it so funny that you actually fight the job application letter which made me laugh at the start and I think that's a super creative idea! The attacks are pretty cool and while they are repetitive and could use some more variety I think it's still amazing for a game jam.
This game has a lot of potential, a few abilities / upgrades could go a long way to giving this game a lot more depth.
Don't know if there's an end to the game cause I drained the boss bar health 2 times but nothing happened.
But other than that a very enjoyable game! I had fun playing it

It's a pretty good game with a cool idea. It has a lot of potential and with more visual polish I think it can be a lot better. I enjoyed playing the game :D

Ohh alright thank you so much I'll give it a shot

OH that makes a lot more sense! But ay cool game I like the ghost design its so goofy

Hey there! So it's a pretty cool game with an enjoyable gameplay loop. The character controller might be a bit too fast for my liking and this might be just me but it did feel pretty hard to dodge some of the attacks. The visuals are great though and the music definitely fits the atmosphere!
Some additions that could help:
- Maybe add extra abilities like a multi shot or shield
- Some of the boss's attacks are a bit too hard to dodge like the spinning attack
- Adding a leaderboard and time taken to defeat the boss would really be cool as it'll give players a lot more incentive to play the game
Other than that it's a really cool game! Congrats on your first submission
