Thank you! Thats very kind of you to say :)

I just added the ability to select which card you're throwing. I plan on publishing it once the resubmission period opens. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you! I actually just added the ability to select which card you're attacking with and I plan on submitting that once the resubmission period opens. I agree that there needs to be some amount of feedback so you can know when an attack lands. I'll see if I can get that added before the jam wraps up as well. Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks for playing! I'm sorry to say but there isn't actually a way to choose which card to use at the moment. We didn't think of that feature until it was too late into the jam so it didn't make it in time. It would've been really cool if it did though

Super cool game! I really like the aesthetic and the animations/design of the enemies. Great work!

I'm having a hard time believing that this is a project made in 10 days and not a demo for an upcoming commercial release. Absolutely insane quality. The visuals are extremely cool and instantly pull you in. The movement is so quick and responsive, it feels like what I imagine a game like Ultrakill feels like.

For my critiques, it is mainly what some other comments have already mentioned. It's difficult shoot when you're constantly pulling your aim downward. It would be nice if the aim would come back to its normal position after the recoil. It also feels like a very modern take on the Wolfenstein formula, but maybe a bit too modern for what I was expecting in this jam. Other than that, my only issue is that there's not more of it to play. Insanely impressive

This is insane in the best way. It feels like I'm playing an Adult Swim bumper at 3.

Super cute! It reminds me of something I would've played as a flash game back in the day.

"Employee of the Month - Satan" was a great addition. With the amount of damage you deal and ammo you have, it kind of reminds me of an old Resident Evil game. Like you have to risk your health trying to make it through a group of demons. Very fun and very cool concept.

I loaded into level two and I just had my fists. I don't know if I was missing a weapon select key or if I needed to find another weapon, but I died fighting which is what matters

The art for this is insane! I love the animated raccoon family picture. Also it's an interesting use of procedural generation. It's a little challenging to find the baby raccoons as the levels feel pretty large and the segments are visually similar. Also I like the combat but I found it was a little easier to run straight through enemies as fighting all of them seemed like a losing battle. Super cool game though! I'd love to see where it goes if you develop it further

Really cool game and very impressive for your first! The art style is awesome and it's cool to see that you have a consistent style with animations for the characters. It took me a second to figure out the controls, and I think my gun disappeared in the second level, but it looks like a lot of work went into this.

Super cool! I love the star wars intro and that you made a GLJ splash page on startup. It's a little glitchy and I'm sorry to hear that the 3D models were too big for the web browser, but it's a cool project!

I agree. We talked about doing the card selection option but it was a little too late in the process to figure out. I'm hoping to expand on it a little more in a solo project though because it sounds really interesting

Thank you! My friend made all the sprites and they turned out super cool. We were going for a Queen of Hearts castle from Alice in Wonderland kind of vibe

Thank you! I'm excited to expand on it!

Thanks! We definitely had a lot of ideas for it and I'm hoping to expand on it with a solo project after this!

Thanks for playing! There isn’t a way to gain more moves other than finding the stairs and progressing to the next level.

Thank you! I’m glad you saw the Katamari inspiration. I agree that it needs some more challenge. I had some in mind but I wasn’t able to add them in time.

I think I've seen this before, but I have no idea what's causing it at the moment

Wow this is a really impressive game! It took me a little bit to understand what was going on, but it's because I underestimated how much was actually in this game. It feels like Rogue meets Risk of Rain. The art and music are great and the gameplay is interesting and fun. Really great work!

Thank you for playing! I've never heard of donut county but I'll definitely have to check it out. Could you tell me what visual glitches you experienced?

Thank you! It was my first time trying pixel art/animations and I'm happy with how it came out. And thank you for the feedback. I agree that it should be more obvious when you're bigger than something.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the twist!

Thanks for playing! I agree that sound would add a lot to the game, but I sadly wasn't able to implement it in time.

Really cool game! I like the concept and it's fun to play. Is there a goal to be working towards or are the levels infinitely procedural?

Thanks! The idea came from playing a lot of Katamari. And yeah it's not as complete as I was hoping it would be, but I learned a lot making it. Thank you for playing it!

Hi everyone! Thanks for playing!

I'm hoping to fix the following (and add sounds) before the deadline.

KNOWN BUGS:

Slime alignment to the grid is slightly off-center

UI does not fit the window

Sprite size does not quite correspond to if a creature is edible

Other creatures are not always eaten when you're directly on top of them (hit box is one cell to the right).

Super fun game! Really impressive work for such a short game jam. And I love how creative your "loop" mechanic is

Thank you for playing! I'm very proud of it

Ton of fun! And I love the style and humor.

Thank you for such kind feedback! I’m hoping to post a more finished version in a few weeks. I’ll try to comment a reminder here if you’re still interested by then!

Thank you for the feedback! Your idea about overlapping shapes sounds really interesting. I’ll definitely look into it for the updated release in a few weeks.

Thank you for the review! The lack of audio is definitely my biggest issue with the game, but I ran out of time. I’ll post an updated version of the game with sound and art in a few weeks.

It's a cool concept but it's pretty hard. Especially since each previous run blocks me from taking the same route.

On the second to last level, my character dies when moving out of the path of an enemy or into the square an enemy just moved out of. This only happens when turning corners. So the solution I was attempting was to send the Ghost three squares to the right to trigger the light plate and then move out of the path of the Enemy at the last second. It worked twice but fails on most attempts.

This is insanely impressive for four days of work. The art, effects, and sound are all great and the concept and puzzles are really well implemented. Amazing game!

I really like this game! The puzzles are fun and satisfying to solve. I was running into an issue where I wasn't able to repeat the solution of the second to last level though. But still this game is a ton of fun!

I like the atmosphere and vibe, but it's hard to tell what you're not supposed to do so it feels like getting reset randomly. Also, I think there's a bug where the TV remote is inaccessible after you get reset for the first time.

While I'm unsure how to adjust the placement of the game window, you could try zooming out (ctrl + scroll down) to make the game visible. I also noticed that the window sometimes has a horizontal scroll for some people in case that helps.
