The game is based on a ring or loop that you need to rotate. Gameplay is one infinite loop (if you're quick enough;))

holy gnome :]
It's difficult for me because I'm a little slow, but I had fun.
It's not because you're slow — the game is just a bit too challenging at the moment. I'm so glad you had fun — that's what this is all about. Take care!
Watching the stream, this was the one i stopped the video for and came to try out. It's really difficult, but not undoable; love the mechanics, art, music, all of it. I do think cheese and pineapple (is it pineapple?) are too similar in color and add (unfairly) to the difficulty.
Thanks for playing our game. You're absolutely right about the colors of the pineapple (yes, it's a pineapple – we wanted to raise some eyebrows among purists). They should definitely be more distinct, although I'm not sure it would actually make things easier. Thanks again for the kind words. Take care!
Another pepperoni game :D
I enjoyed the game, is pretty addictive and original, a bit hard at the start, but with practise you get better!
Great job!
I completely agree with you. Now we need to make sure there's a bit more fun, at least at the beginning of the game. Thanks for playing it. Take care!
Creative game! A little hard to get the hang of (especially when the you have to swap a lot of things around), but I was able to get about 5 loops complete before I died. It would be good if there was a visual timer bar/timer countdown on top of the slowly approaching cards so it was clearer how much time we had left. Overall nice and fun!
Thank you for the kind words. You're right — the difficulty level and how it scales is definitely something we need to fine-tune. If you managed to match the pizza ingredients 5 times in a row, you're probably better at this game than I am! :-)
As for the idea of a timer or some kind of visual showing the remaining distance — that's actually a great suggestion. Honestly, we hadn’t thought of that. I think it’s something we might add over time.
Thanks again, and take care!
This is really creative. That moment at the start when the cards are faster is the single most anxiety-inducing thing on this green Earth. Combine that with what I assume is a deliberately chaotic control scheme and you have a player slowly sinking into a state of complete panic in the best way possible.
Thanks for your feedback!
I’m really glad we managed to trigger that anxiety with the initial card acceleration. The game tries to intimidate the player — but hopefully only a little — and then rewards them later on.
As for the chaos in the controls, I think the biggest issue is with swapping cards. The player should clearly understand which card is swapping with which.
Thanks for playing
Does the game highlight both cards for swapping? There's no real need for only one card to be highlighted, right?
It now highlights only the selected card. It would be clearer if the target card were highlighted as well.
My thoughts exactly. But I imagine it's a quick fix once the jam is passed! And since your game showed up in the GMTK stream, you might still get a bunch of new players after the voting period!
Cool idea! But a little too difficult to sort the cards with so little time.
I had to concentrate hard on how to swap the cards.
You're absolutely right. The game is currently too difficult. It definitely needs some fine-tuning. Thank you for playing it. All the best
I really like it! If I were to change anything I would add a button that lets you fast-forward the moving cards to complete the recipe, like making the blocks fall quicker in Tetris. That way you could start with a slower speed for beginners but it wouldn't be frustrating for people who get the patterns quickly. Really fun puzzle.
Thank you very much for the feedback! We actually had your idea in mind, we just didn't manage to implement it, as we developed the game in 3 people and this was our first jam. But we will definitely add this option. Thanks again!
That's the most fun I had in the jam so far! It's just such a cool gameplay loop. The art is nice and though you didn't make it yourself, the soundtrack is very fitting. My only complaint is that the initial difficulty at the start is too high. It would be nice if you had some more time to experiment with the controls.
"It’s really nice to hear that you had fun with the game!
We definitely need to give the player a bit more time at the beginning to get used to the controls.
Thank you for the kind words about the visuals — all of it is original work by Kamisia. I think that thanks to the positive feedback she’s received, she’ll feel a bit more confident in her creative work.
Thank you for that on her behalf. Take care! 😊
It took some getting used to but really satisfying once you get the hang of it! My strategy ended up being get the meat to the right spot, then swap whatever's incorrect.
Ha! I had the same strategy. I think this will be fixed soon and it won't be that easy anymore. That said, the game is still quite challenging. Thank you for the comment — I'm really glad you had fun playing!
The controls took some time getting used to but once I did it was quite fun. An easy mode for beginners would have been appreciated.
The game definitely needs some kind of introduction to the control scheme. It becomes manageable after a while, but at first it can feel overwhelming. Thanks for playing our game. All the best!
Love this idea I could see myself playing this for quite awhile! The music and art are so good!! I just wish I was faster or that the beginning was a bit easier so I can my brain can get into pizza mode!
I'm really glad the game managed to pull you in for a bit longer than just a moment. It definitely needs to ease the player into the gameplay more gently. Thank you for this valuable feedback.
I hope you plan on making a post jam patch so I can play it again!
We definitely plan to take the feedback we received into account. We'd love for this project to result in a fully playable version of the game.
Really fun. But my brain is not braining here. Maybe make the start a bit easier. But love the art of the cards and the game idea ^^
Thanks for the kind words about the visuals!
The game is definitely a bit of a brain challenge — I know that all too well myself 😊 We need to lower the difficulty a bit, or at least ease the player into it more gently. You know what they say — you have to boil the frog slowly.
Cheers and take care!
The game is really really fun if you have a very quick brain. Very brain twisting to react to all of the recipe coming towards you. Great game!
At this point, not many people probably have a brain that fast. We definitely need to give the player a bit more time. Thanks for the kind words!
Great job! I really like the concept and the scramble to match in time. I definitely found it very difficult but still enjoyable to play. The music was super fun too. Nice job!
We went overboard with the difficulty level, that's a fact. Thanks for playing our game. Take care!
Oh this is so sick!! I got absolutely demolished for the first 5 minutes and then something clicked and I started seeing the matrix. Using both hands to move the ring vs the cursor feels really satisfying once you get going, I don't think I've ever seen a game like this which is always so exciting.
I am still terrible at it but I think I just used 100% of my brain for the first time ever and I wanted to thank you lol
What you wrote is really encouraging. I'm glad you pushed through the tough beginning and found the game to be playable. If it brought you even a little bit of joy, that’s just awesome.
As for the difficulty level — I do think the game is hard, but it also feels satisfying when you manage to match the symbols.
Thanks again for your comment, it really means a lot to us. Take care!
Really fun! A bit difficult to understand at first but once you get the hang of it, very good. You should be proud
Thanks for playing our game! You're right — it can be hard to understand at first and the controls might not feel intuitive. That's valuable feedback for us. What matters most, though, is that the game gave you some fun. Thanks again for your comment. All the best
