Great first game! Snappy controls and snappy music, nice job

This was a fantastic first game! Congratulations. It was very fun and I would personally love to be a snail on the moon.

Cool first game jam game! I think some of the rocks were invisible because I collected some that I couldn't see. But overall great job, I like the humor as well.

that was nice! and for your first game. congratulations!

movement and jumping seems a little floaty, but well. it's the moon so I guess it's fine :D

we've struggled to make non floaty feeling jump too. I like your execution of the loop theme! I got all 14 rocks :D

Another moon entry!  Nice!

Solid entry, especially for a first jam.  Really clever play on expectations having some off screen.  Took me a few loops to find 13.  I couldn't ever find that last one.  Looks like there might be a room or something to the right of the rocket, but I never could figure anything out.  Would be curious to know where that last one was.

Nice work!

I've had a couple people tell me they could only find 13. I'll link a answer sheet at some point today (I'm technically not supposed to be on my computer)

An answer key should be linked in the description! Thanks for the feedback!

Good job for your first jam ! If I can drop a piece of advice I would say to have the moon rocks be a bit more different than the ground so you can see them better. Loved the parts where the snail went off screen.

awesome game!!! I love ittt !!!!

Cute game! I love the design of the snail, and the looping level was a good idea.

I loved the little snail's design! I didn't get how it fit the theme at first, but when I got to the end it clicked. I just wish there was more space to explore and hide moon rocks. This is awesome for a first game!

Developer

Thanks! I also wish I could have made the map longer, but I spent to long on other things. I'm glad you liked it!

Cute game! The platforming was pretty fun in this game. The only issue I really had was that the text caused a bit of motion sickness to read whilst moving due to how fast you move. The sound effects were also a bit loud as well. I love snails, so it is nice seeing them in games. Solid game!

Developer(+1)

After the jam I'll try to fix that. Thanks for the advice!

I love the moony controls. It is so nice to jump far and slowly. Feels satisfying. Probably because it is in contrast to tighter faster more attention needing jumps in jump and runs.

The snail shell is a loop. And I play the tutorial again. OK, kind of loops. :-)

Definitely better than my first jam game lol.

I'd have really liked a moon rock counter to keep track of my progress.

Developer(+1)

There is a counter at the end of the map once you loop. I didn't figure out how to make the counter follow the player, I will try to add that in future games! Thanks for the feedback!

I liked the in game text, it was funny. Nice game, but I couldn't find the last rock

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Developer

I just added an answer key if your curious where the last one is

Nice little platformer. As some have pointed out the rock pick up sound is noticably louder than the rest of the game, but a fun little concept executed well.

Submitted

this really good, especially for your first game! the sfx are a little loud imo, but otherwise its a very good submission!
