How does your game fit the theme?
Consuming enemies makes you grow. You need to be large to eat the large enemies, but you're nimbler and better able to dodge the bullets when you're small, so the game is about trying to manage that tradeoff.

Visuals are decent, the sound effects are good, the gameplay is fun and the mechanics are done well.
Solid game 👍
Thank you!
Very fun! There should probably be something telling the player he is progressing, and a bit easy IMO.
Thanks! I definitely should have included a progress bar. I try to err on the side of easy for game jams, but I don't want anything to be trivial
Loved it!!!
At the beginning, when you are small and fast, the camera movement seemed a bit excessive in my opinion. Regardless of that, great entry to the jam!
Sorry about the camera, but I'm glad you had fun overall! Thanks for playing!
Enjoyed this one a lot!
I'm glad you liked it!
Simple and fun.
Thanks for playing!
Here’s what I liked:
Here’s what I think can be improved:
Nice work!
Wow, thank you for this in-depth feedback! I tried to program the camera myself, which didn't turn out very well. Cinemachine looks very useful, so thanks for the recommendation! There is a win condition (if you last long enough, you get to a final boss), but I definitely should have included a progress bar or a "round x of y" or something like that to make that more obvious. Having bouncable objects in the middle of the map is such a great idea; I wish I'd thought of it! Thanks again for your feedback
It’s definitely worth programming yourself to see how it works! Cinemachine is fantastic though and is honestly way better than anything I could ever write. And there’s like a million tutorials on it.
Doh, yeah I would have tried a little longer if there was a progress bar!
Despite some camera issues the game was quite fun. I enjoyed getting the hang of the controls. It's great that there was a lot of enemy variety but I will say that I found it more fun to be big than to scale down once again.
I'm glad you liked the physics and enemy variety! And thanks for your feedback on the relative sizes!
overall cool and fun! Camera jostled pretty bad when you are small tho
Thanks! I agree; the camera could use some work
the idea is kinda interesting and i like the minimalistic art. honestly the major issue for me was the camera, i think it moves to fast when you change direction, maybe smoothing that movement could be cool!
Thanks for the feedback! I'll be more careful with the camera in the future. I'm glad you like the art and concept
it's a simple fun game and i like it.
Thank you!
A simple and fun little game, I loved the neon shapes, good job!!
Thanks! I'm pleased with how the visuals turned out
the camera is making me dizzy lol great work on the idea!
I'm glad you liked the concept! Sorry about the camera
Fun gameplay, having to balance your size is a cool gimmick. Some kind of score indicator would be nice.
I'm glad you liked it! There's an ending to the game, so I probably should have included a progress bar or some sort of indication of what you're working towards
amazed how "shape" games are so cool sometimes,
It take me some timle to get how movmeents work but when done, it felt super great to feel the "weigth" of getting biger and biger !
get it till the end, trying to avoid the "malus" of getting shrunk
Good Job
Thanks! I had fun with this art style, and I enjoyed programming the player physics too
Very fun, I played to the end. I went in thinking there wouldn't be a balance and I would just get as big as possible to win like I've seen on other games, but you balanced it nice in a way that actually required you manage your size based on the enemies left and your life. The different enemy types worked really well. I liked that the camera wasn't locked on to the player but it did feel too loose and was a little disorienting. Maybe because the camera was faster than the player?
Same, good balance.
Thank you! I was hoping to have that push-and-pull with the size, so I'm glad you enjoyed that. And thanks for the feedback on the camera! It was my first time programming a moving camera, and I'll be sure to make it smoother next time.
Great game
Thanks!
