How does your game fit the theme?
You build a base. The enemies scale with your base. The enemies have scales (they're lizards). Maintaining your base against the lizards requires "balancing the scales."

Lovely game!
Full review in dms~
Nice job! As you said, it’s yet a bit “empty” but I could see it as a base builder defender thingy to survives waves you know.
Does it actually change something to build a iron extractor on two deposit? It should so we can play at optimizing the base.
Otherwise I had a bit of fun
Yep, the harvesters generally all extract faster when covering multiple resource tiles. Sometimes it's not obvious because the transportation blocks have limits on how quickly they can transfer materials too.
Really fun game! I can't believe you did all this in 4 days :O Definitely would put a tutorial in the game or on the itch page, but other then that amazing game :)
Game was amazing after understanding the mechanics, but it did take a while to get my bearings. Very impressive work for 4 days!
I thought this game was pretty cool!, but I do wish there was more of an indicator of how to connect different tools to get the saws and mining equipment working. It took some trial and error before I had something which was generating minerals for me.
Damn ! Really cool game and mechanics for a 4 day jam, well played !
Took some time to understand how I could get the ressources from the extractors, some screen in the comments helped me to understand :)
This was an awesome atmospheric experience! Really liked the game and am very curious what you would've done if you had more time to expand on it!
I like the music and atmosphere, the game gets kind of mesmerizing over time! The only real stumbling block a new player might have is trying to understand the mechanics of the game, so more guidance there would be good :)
Really impressive game for just 4 days of development, well done!
Took me some time to understand what to do, and it ended up being super fun! reminds me of factorio, and i like the style, seeing that resources around is just hypnotizing. Well done!
This was very fun to play! I don’t normally play this type of game so my opinion might not be too useful, but I thought that a tutorial might be a good addition to the game. You eventually get the idea of how to do stuff, but having some better guidance at the beginning would definitely be good for the experience overall. Apart from that, I thought the music was great, and I enjoyed my time playing. Well done!
I appreciate the thoughts and am glad you enjoyed! Turns out the "tutorial" of reading the item descriptions is somehow almost good enough
Good job! I like the art style, at the beginning the gameplay was a bit confusing about how the resource extraction works but I got the hang of it.
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. Explaining the resource extraction in game somehow is definitely at the top of my post-jam to do list :)
I like the pretty music
Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
For whatever reason the browser versions wasn't loading for me, only the music would start after refreshing twice. I wasn't going to comment but I wanted to say that I thought the music was really nice.
Yeah, I've found there to be some issues with Godot's play-in-browser export. When I play in browser the music starts late, but everything else works perfectly (in Firefox). I appreciate the comment on the music!
Edit: I know a friend of mine was not able to play it without input issues on Opera. So those of you reading through this may want to keep that in mind.
I really liked the game, maybe not very intuitive though. But I must say that all the sounds ovelaping did get annoying at some point.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the sounds being constant can definitely get annoying. I tried to tune the more bothersome ones down quite a bit but it probably wasn't quite enough. I was really worried when I only had the two saws at full volume at first. It sounded awful lmao
On the unintuitiveness: I really wanted players to have to experiment with the different items in the build menu, so I left a lot of the descriptions a bit vague for that reason. I think the most unintuitive part is that the mined resources don't go to you automatically; it may have been good to include a pop up or hint in the game itself to clear that up.
I liked it, very fun and quite impressive, the fact that you did this in just 4 days. Good job!
Thank you so much!
Great music, it sounds so otherworldly. Matches the aesthetic really well.
I'm glad you like the music! It's amazing what a little additive synthesis and delay/reverb can do for atmosphere.
