I love factorio, so I was excited to see this take on the theme. Great work building a very functional factory game that can scale up to a very large size. I had some UI scaling issues that made it tricky to play at first, but I played around them. Nice work!!
Cool factory game with a great take on the theme! I like how zooming out still makes use of all the smaller factories as spawners, and they don't become obsolete due to the difference in scale. Well done.
Liked the conept, little asmr idle game. Pretty fun trying to optimize the paths. Good job!
As I love factory-games, I had fun playing your game! Nice submission for the jam!
The constant scaling up of a factory is a great core-concept! I would have loved to see more goals to guide the progression of gameplay, but this is a great start for the jam time-period. Great work!
This was a lot of fun once it clicked for me! I'd love to have new machines that I could build with each layer but it's a cool direction overall <3
Interesting concept! Once it clicked how it worked I really liked the idea of nested layers of factories working together. Like others have said, some constraints and goals would be nice gameplay-wise, but just having a system like this working is an accomplishment! (I can attest to that myself this jam lol)
inception factory. I think it needs some kind of goal to work towards
Nice relaxing game, I like the concept, and I think it could improve with a "combo" system (like: red+red gives more money than red+blue, or make the items created meaningful).
I'd love to see more :)
Thanks for playing! I would've loved to add a more complex selling and storage system for all the different items! The idea of the combo system was just to result into different new items, which can then be combined again. The gold was mostly just a last minute addition to pace the game out a bit. Thanks for the tips!
Interesting game! I worked on factory games and I believe you need to give a bit of meaning on why are you building stuff, but I liked the concept of zooming out and having a different factory floor that depends on the lower level.
This is a really interesting concept and a very relaxing/tranquil game.
I'm curious to know what you had planned for it, since you mentioned in the description that the content had to be cut short.
I also have no idea how you did the zoom in/out effect. Great work!
The only issue I had was the conveyors could be a bit hard to get lined up properly at times. More tools to make that easier would be great.
The chill music is the perfect vibe for this style game. I like it.
This is the first sorta idle-factory style game I've seen in the jam where the resources spawn from fixed points and you had to build your factory around that. I really like the concept because it forces the player to have to make sacrifices in their design. Great touch. My one sorta minor nitpick is I wish the conveyor were a bit larger as it was really easy to make crooked lines and waste resources building them. Really like the concept for the game!
very interesting idea. managed to combine 5 trees and 5 batteries
i wish it was easier to build long paths
Great idea for a game! It was fun to expand the factories to be able to support the larger scales. One thing I think could be improved is the placement of tracks. They are so small that it's hard to draw them in a straight line, and sometimes when they get placed on a diagonal the arrows don't end up pointing into each other properly which then has to be manually fixed. But it's only a small inconvenience and the game is still really fun overall!
Awesome submission! It took me a little bit to realize that zooming out was how you progressed. I would love to see this game expanded in the future, with the implementation of some of your ideas you wished you had the time to add. Either way, really cool game!
Really cool game! It really gives Factorio vibes, which I enjoy. I wish there was more of an end goal, but overall you did pretty great with your time limit!
Took me a second to figure out what to do but had a lot of fun once I understood it! Scaling up factories is a really neat concept I think can be expanded on with more factory types.
I like the factory game and the fact that you have to scale the factory. Sadly I didn't figure out how to create items. Got a few small Red/Blue Red/Red and Blue/Blue factories. Would love to play the game more.
Thanks for playing! Wish I could've made the mechanics a bit more intuitive and added some objectives to help out. You can zoom out to another layer where the factories function as new spawners essentially. This continues for like 7 layers or so!
Played it again and love the fact that it scales up. Changed my rating a bit :)
