Cool game! It would be cool to be able to customize the amount of objects, hope to see you in GMTK 2025!
I like this idea, though I feel like the timer is a little too short. Perhaps giving the player a chance to try and memorise the screen for a few minutes before actually starting the game? Is a fun little game though, and a very creative idea :3 so good job!
The timer is actually adjustable using +/- on the keyboard, so you can adjust it to what you're comfortable with! As for some time before starting the game, I personally like the idea of memorizing as you go, especially because trying to memorize right at the start can be overwhelming without a singular object to look for.
Oooh I didn't know that ^^;
I like this a fair bit. I'd appreciate the timer being customisable, or ways to extend the timer itself in the game rather than switching to a new one and losing life. Really neat.
+/- on the keyboard will actually increase or decrease the time limit, but many people have raised this idea so perhaps a more obvious control would be better.
Such a nice twist to the theme. I love how hard the game is. Maybe you can increase the volume where the object changes after the previous object's time runs out. Other than that, the game is so fun!
Really good use of the theme! My main issue is I would've preferred a gradual ramp in difficulty over time starting off with a smaller selection of items and adding more over time. Or alternatively making the timer a lot more generous early on and gradually cut the time down each round
If I had more time, and was to continue working on it, that would definitely have been the goal!
This is pretty fun, I would've tried harder if I wasn't limited to a mousepad right now. The timer is really tight as well
I liked it! The presence of a few lookalike objects makes it a bit more annoying than it perhaps has the right to be, but it's still pretty fun.
Very interesting idea, quite well done! I think it would've been cool if the playspace started small and expanded over time so it was a bit easier initially and gradually got harder!
That is definitely an idea I had considered to implement if I had more time.
Nice idea but it is extremely hard to distinguish similar objects x.x
Really awesome game!
This is the best example that great and funny games do not need to be complex all the time. Just sit, relax, and select the wrong blue sword for the third time.
Congrats!
My eyes aren’t good…
quite fun! i think i need to buy glasses
cool game! greatway to implement the jams theme :)
Minimalistic, and so well executed. Great job !
Fun
I wasn't good at it but it was quite addicting! I especially enjoyed the objects filling the screen at the start - that looked quite fancy!
Fun game, addicting concept with some pretty good pixel art. Good job on the submission, with a bit of polish this has the potential to be an amazing short game!
Sadly I couldn't get it to run in chrome on mac, it just loaded to a blank screen. But the music and sound effects sounded really nice! I'll try it again to see if there's an update after the jam because I really like the concept!
Very addictive, I think progressive levels where it increases in difficulty would have been very fun. I love these sort of games
That definitely is an idea if I were to continue working on this game!
This is the kind of game where you think, 'Just one more round, I’m sure I can beat my score,' and you end up playing over and over without realizing it. It's really well done, bravo! ;)
My best score is 104112. A leaderboard would have been perfect, but it might have made the game even more addictive ^^
