Creative Puzzles!

Developer

thank you!

Very cool art! Also very pleasantly surprised by the number of levels in the game!

Developer

Thank you! It’s all our dev’s hard work! And we’re definitely looking to expand to more levels after the jam!

very interesting idea and very beautiful art

Thank you very much!

Played and rated! Nicely done! You had a lot of similar takes on the theme that our game did. We also scaled in three sizes and used similar puzzles, just in top-down 3D. Alice is really cute, and I enjoyed the game! :)

Developer

Thank you very much! Indeed, the scaling one ended up being pretty common as a mechanism lol, which isn't surprising considering it was definitely the most literal understanding of the words xD

Thank you for playing!

I really like all the puzzles and the game looks and feels really good!

I’m truly impressed by the sheer amount of content you’ve created. The puzzles are numerous and all incredibly clever, and the quality of the art is outstanding. Wow!

Developer

Thank you very much for the compliments! Glad you enjoyed the play! :D

Nice art, nice adaptation of the theme. The controls are a bit difficult to coordinate, might be better to toggle through the transformations with just one other button nearby as opposed to 2 other buttons far from the main keys.

Enjoyable experience in general.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing! That is a good point about the controls, I'll bring it up to our dev as I do agree that something closer to wasd would probably be more intuitive as starting controls.

You can also change the controls up to your liking in the control settings as well. I don't like wasd controls (and suck when using them) so I got to swap them with arrows ones haha

Really nice art and music! The mechanics are good too!

Developer

thank you very much!

I am SHOCKED that you were able to come up with this artwork on your own even with the assets used! Great job!!

Thank you!

Honestly I vastly overestimated the amount I could make for the jam LMAO.
Ideally I wouldn’t have used any other assets either, as I can draw them myself too, but I ended up focussing on the gameplay assets too much and didn’t have time for the cover/welcome screens 😂 so I just used basic cloud image because it was too ugly to leave it blank.

in the end, it’s actually only slightly faster to adapt another work than drawing it from scratch, since it also takes time to modify something to match what you need it for 😂

I loved the art and the music, and the idea of referencing Alice's size changing in Wonderland for the puzzles was really clever! The puzzles were well done for the most part, with the one caveat that I'm still not sure what the intended strategy for the very last puzzle on the third level was. I also had some trouble with the carpets, especially the puzzle where I think you're supposed to bring a thing with you onto one, because Alice would look like she was on it, but it turned out she was actually just a pixel off, and get left behind. I also occasionally wished I could see more of the level. I did really appreciate the generous checkpoints, because I am very, very bad at platforming, but I was determined to see Alice escape and had a lot of fun doing so!

Thank you very much! Honestly the Alice part was absolutely an accident, as it came to us naming the game and it reminded us of Alice in Wonderland, so that is what she ended up being called xD

Last puzzle depends on the order you push the bookcases! You need to break the ice wall using arrows, but the bookcase is blocking it, so you need to remove the bookcase out of the way first!

Thank you very much for the extensive feedback, I'll definitely bring to our dev about the 1px thing, if only to see if we can add some animation so Alice standing on 1px won't feel so off LOL.

The art is really nice!

Thank you! :D

Very cute game! I think the art and sound direction were really good, and the platforming felt good. The puzzles were also quite intuitive.

Developer

Thank you very much! We’re glad you think so! Thank you for the support! :D

Love the artwork, the controls, challenging puzzle gameplay and the music.  Excellent job!

Developer

Thank you very much!! :D

Loved this - liked the character controls changed and the your view changed too when changing size. Alice is a great idea for this.

Music a nice but a little repetitive. Hit a little collision issue on the last puzzle where I could fall through between 1 pixel between the platform and the bookcase when pulling the other.... nothing major, but annoying.

Loved all of the platforming mechanics great job :)

Developer

Not bad of a score there!! (I still haven’t gotten under 8 minutes lmaoo)

And thank you so much for informing us of the bug!! We didn’t know about that one! Definitely informing our dev about that one!

Thank you for playing!

Good looking game, interesting mechanics. Level design made it sometimes frustrating but good work.

Developer(+1)

thank you so much for the feedback! If you don’t me asking, which part was frustrating? We’re looking at any feedback to improve this after the jam!

Very good and simple idea!

The mechanic is common to  other games but is well think in this game, bravo ! + The art is Awesome, wp

Developer

Thank you very much! Yeah haha, we didn’t want to overthink it and just dug in with the most straightforward interpretation of it since we wanted to focus more on making the game.

Very cool game! I liked all the interactions you thought of when at different sizes!

Developer

thank you for your support!
