I liked the visual, the controller is very simple but it feels nice. I liked the idea of having "spells" and use them to change the plateformes. I'm a bit sad that you couldn't use your "spells" in every level once you unlock them but a good game !
Thank you :) The spells are restricted at the start as the tutorial but in later levels they are all unlocked :) I appreciate you taking the time to play our game and giving feedback :)
Really great game! Nice implementation of the idea! I liked the combination of runes! I look forward to more trials!
Thank you for playing and the nice feedback :)
Very nice game and good use of idea! I loved the way u implemented the levels like some are teaching mechanics and some are challanging. The are style is good and unique, loved the feel of background music. Just felt that the movement can be improved like the jump was floaty and movement felt rigid and not fluid. Also i think the rune timing cooldown thingy can be a bit tweaked. Other than that loved the game, loved the use of theme!
Thank you so much for the awesome feedback! 😊 We’ve definitely heard about the player movement being a bit off, haha, so we’re working on making it smoother and more fun! We’re also going to give the runes a bit of a tweak, just like you suggested. We really appreciate you playing and sharing your thoughts—it means a lot! So glad you enjoyed it despite the bugs! 😄
This was a really interesting game, I really enjoyed it. I like that you used runes to change things and made me feel wizardy
Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed the wizard experience :D
Very cool puzzle platformer. I loved it. :)
Thank you so much :)
Really cool game
Thank you :)
Super interesting idea and great tutorial!
Thank you :)
I liked the level design, one moment your in the basics, then things go up a level, would be interested in what other puzzles are possible and difficult. Needs a little polish on the movement. The look and feel was perfect.
Interesting idea! The collision is a bit hit and miss but the creative use of magic is fun
Thank you so much for feedback :) The collision for sure is a bit janky and is number one on the improvement list haha
I had a great time with this! There were a couple spots where I got caught on some colliders, but they just required an extra jump. Really good job implementing the theme, well done!
I'm glad you like it :D The player collider has been an ongoing mystery, I still have no idea whats causing it but investigations continue haha, Thank you so much for playing :)
Super cool little puzzle platformer, the pacing of the introduction of mechanics is excellent, and the pixel art + lighting combo really shines!
Would be very grateful if you tried our game!
Glad you enjoyed playing this, really appreciate the positive feedback :D
100% I will try your game :)
Really nice graphical style for the game ! I got stuck in the passway where you need to shrink down and it could be great if you could cancel an effect as you need to wait the full duration to be able to access other things
I'm glad you enjoyed the style :D The shrinking bugs have been a bit janky from the start I hope to improve them in the future :'3 That's an amazing suggestion it would have saved a lot of time in playtesting as well, Thank you very much for playing :)
This really teaches me how to use the particles lol. Beautiful innovative fire like it so much! And the core idea is so well expanded. Thank you for making this!
Thank you so much I'm glad you enjoyed playing! :)
Ah, lovely little wizard! Nice puzzles, too!
Thank you for playing :D
Really enjoyed the platforming level design, and the versatility of the abilities. Looking forward to future trials in the tower!
I'm glad you liked it :D More trials await once I figure out what the heck is going on with the collisions haha, thank you :)
Good game! it was fun but the effect of each button is difficult to remember, maybe just a skill issue. Anyway i love the game
Thank you! Nah even I get confused which button to press haha, thank you for playing :)
It was fun to play with the abilities scaling up the platforms, I had a lot of issues with the terrain physics, getting stuck on the side of walls, invisible bumps, and not being able to jump while on a lowering platform etc. Also, I didn't understand why I could stand on the slime when I made it big but died if I tried standing on it while it was small. It definitely fit the theme and the pacing was good though!
Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you had fun playing even if there was some movement issues, we had a lot of trouble figuring out why there was invisible obstacles and such, also the shrinking mechanic was causing some bugs haha, I hope to spend more time with it in the future and figure those out :) The slime thing I had it in my head that if the slime was somehow bigger it would be bloated and undangerous and the little slime would be more feisty :') Same with the skeleton, the skull shouldn't hurt you but it does haha, these little ideas didn't really translate! Thank you so much for playing! :)
Yeah, I have to keep reminding myself all these games were made in a few days because they're all so good, It's a really fun little experience and I enjoyed it!
Really like it! Especially the later puzzles when you get to combine your abilities the way you want. I wasn't a fan of the floaty jump at first, but now I think it fits the (obviously great) vibe of the game.
By the way, I actually made a similar game, but with less puzzles and more platforming. Would love it if you gave it a try. (You don't get to be a wizard though, sorry about that)
Thanks for the feedback :D I'm glad the jump didn't feel too bad in the end, we had a tough time with the player movement this time around haha and we had a lot of fun designing the puzzles :)
I did play your game and I left a comment and stuff :) It's a very well put together game you should be proud! Even if I wasn't a wizard, there is certainly something magic going on!
I like it. The aesthetic felt really nice, the puzzle aspect felt good and not forced (like they were properly planned), and like the previous poster said, it gave me an NES game vibe.
Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you liked it :)
Just like the oldschool NES games, it's challenging, but fun for players of all ages, keep it up!
Thank you glad you enjoyed it :D
