Cool concept, clean and well executed! Particularly liked the music!

Absolutely superb! The style, idea, and gameplay were all executed brilliantly. I had a lot of fun with these puzzles.

Very fun! It would be nice if there was a speedup time button since some of my more ill-placed jumps could take a full minute before I return to ground. Good job otherwise though!

A really nice mix of mechanics!
It's nothing new on their own but mixed in such a tasty coctail is just a :chefkiss:!
Art and music is pleasing as well.

One of my favorite games of the jam so far! Super interesting puzzles! In a future iteration, I'd love to see some better character movement on the planet. I felt so slippery. It'd also be fun to explore the obstacles in a more thematic way. Passing the laser is a cool obstacle, but it'd be cool if it were something that floats in space. Maybe a solar flare or something like that. Either way, you've got a high rating from me. Great work :)

Developer

Really appreciate the feedback! Spent alot of time tweaking the movement but at the end of the day agree that it can be a bit less responsive on smaller planets. Love the idea for some more space themed obstacles - will be making some updates after voting has closed :) Thanks for playing!

Propably one of the best space theme game from the jam. Really creative puzzles. Fun to play. Great work!!!

Delightful game!

Using gravitational fields to solve puzzles isn't anything new, but mining planets to shrink their size? And then tossing that mass at another planet to make it grow? What a wild concept haha!

And it's used very well here. Fun and very satisfying puzzle game, taking a unique spin on planetary gravity-based physics puzzles.

Developer

Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it! It was my first time writing any custom physics and its definitely a bit wonky at times so I'm happy you had fun with it :)

Very cool concept!  And the puzzles at each level were challenging without being crazy.

This was super cool and fun and super well done. It's very clean and the music and art fit so well with the game

Great idea and execution! The pixel art is very nice and the game fits the theme well. I found some levels took a few too many throws into the void before I actually hit what I was aiming at (it's interesting how hitting your target gets progressively easier as its size increases!), but the fun of the game kept me around to complete the full thing. The moments where my little robot would careen through space as I crossed my fingers that he'd land where I intended made for a satisfying payoff.  Nice work!

Developer

Thank you so much! Yea definitely noticed some of the later levels get a bit tedious towards the end - even after you’ve already figured out the puzzle part of it. Didn’t have time to balance because the gravity meant changing one thing slightly changed how the whole level worked, but good to think about for next time. High praise that you still found it engaging enough to play to the end, it means a lot :)

Super cool! I made it to the end of the galaxy :))

Really well-polished game! I enjoyed the puzzles and with minimal mechanics were able to create such complex puzzles :D

This is so creative and well-executed!  I love the continued evolution on the concept and mechanics - I only realized after it was the intended solution, but I felt such an "AHA" moment in level 2 when I figured out how to fling myself around the barricade ; and just moments before was so excited at the concept of flinging rocks between planets to change their mass/size.  Really well done, and as a bonus, the character is cute, the art is great, and the sound is snazzy!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you so much for your kind words! Can't take credit for the sound but I've really been trying to practice my art so glad its paying off :D You know when I had a couple friends play test it alot of them found solutions that weren't the 'intended way' which is always so cool to see. Glad you liked it!

Love this! Would've loved even more if there was some kind of predictive arc to show where my rock was going to actually be thrown though. I keep accidentally feeding the lava planets lol

Developer(+1)

Ugh, I know - classic symptom of not enough time in the jam. I had a skeleton for a throw arc that showed how the gravity was acting but it just got too complex and I had other things I needed to fix. Glad you liked it though!

the art the music everything fits so well, and its such a unique game, accidently making the other planet (moon) on the third level ig and then getting stuck was pretty annoying i had to restart like 6 times ;-; but overall very enjoyable game :)
