It's so cool to see Quake's aesthetic brought to life in a totally different type of game. I've felt a bit stuck on some puzzles, but their design was so cool I appreciated even just to roam around the map. The number of different maps is amazing, by the way, it's hard to think you did this in only 96 hours!
This is definitely a game I would love to see to be expanded as a full standalone experience on Steam.
These puzzles had me absolutely stumped. Great stuff and well done for a game in 4 days!!
One of the best games of the jam for me. I really liked the gameplay.
Oh my god thank you so much! That is really high praise
Amazing stuff across the board. Super interesting mechanic that applies the theme, great art style, fun puzzles. Hard to complain here. The only potentially questionable decision is to allow the player to access any level at any time. Admittedly this is in the spirit of quake, but naturally it makes pacing difficulty and new mechanics trickier for the designers. Regardless, great stuff.
Very cool and unique idea. The jump is a little hard to control, but I love the puzzle. The visuals are pretty good too. Amazing game!
Neat concept and such completion and content in these four days. A little hard to control the extrusion (intrusion) but the puzzles are good, giving me Talos Principle vibe. Nice work!
Nailed that 2000s vibe, the level design here is on point, varied levels but not insanely different that the game it too complex! Only thing is the speed itself could be just the smallest bit slower while shooting to aim a bit better, but that's a nitpick! Great work!
Very fun game! Love the aesthetic and game play!
Spectacular game, uses the theme really well and love how varied all the levels are. Impressive work for just 4 days... really brings me back to those early 2000s games.
Great Level Design! I think movement speed could be a little slower for better precision. Otherwise no complaints. Pretty well done.
Really nice concept and game design! Controls are good but could benefit of fine tuning, not really easy to move blocs exactly as you want them to. But in four days still, what a achievement!
Very cool and unique concept for a puzzle game. Puzzles were definitely tricky, but they had the perfect "aha" moment when I would finally understand the solution. My favorite was the one in the twin towers right near the start, I felt like I understood the end goal right away but getting to that goal required a good amount of thinking and experimentation. I couldn't figure out the one that started in the basement though, I got near the end but I think I softlocked myself out of the solution accidentally. Movement was fun as well, it felt smooth and there was a bit of platforming and precision required. My only recommendation would be to maybe adjust the mouse sensitivity, I set it to max and it still ended up feeling a bit slow to me. Great game!
Perfect score! really good puzzles
HARD, but that's not always a bad thing. A little tricky to move the blocks,. and the character moves REALLY fast.
GREAT JOB! <3
lovely game! levels seem a bit tough though and sometimes it was a bit hard to get the block to move how I wanted it to.
Outstanding. Brilliant implementation and a *chefs kiss* old school FPS feel down to every detail. Wonderful puzzle design. I completely had an AHA moment working out how to line everything up that gives me the tingles. Just awesome. Thanks :D
Definitely a tough puzzler, but I loved the art on it. Did you use Trenchbroom for this? Really great mood!
I used NetRadiant, but Rabbit and ember used TB yeah :D
Awesome game, very nice art. The basement dweller puzzle was a real head scratcher, but really enjoyed the puzzles. Moving the blocks generally feels really great and cool, but often behaves a bit weirdly and is difficult to move properly. Feels like the core mechanic has a lot of potential to be expanded upon too. Sometimes the level geometry behaved a bit weird with the scaling brush too, but probably just some bugs there
Cool concept with nice art. Moving the brush felt a bit odd, would have prefered mouse movement... Levels have potential.
