Sorry to hear you encountered that bug, turns out to be related to the game resolution. We've looked into it and added a note to the game description for future players on how to fix it. Glad you were able to enjoy some aspects regardless, thanks for playing!

This is a fun little game! Love the song choice, In the Hall of the Mountain King in particular is a really fun one for this sort of game. I agree with what others have said, some sort of indicator for when I was on beat would have been helpful and added to the game feel as well. Refueling at the end for the grand finale is a fun idea, it lets you really go crazy at the end, although it does make me want to just mash buttons to see the pretty fireworks rather than stay on beat. Nice work!

Some of the colored texts could definitely have been more readable shades, it's an unfortunate side effect of changing the text background color and never going back to change the text itself. Glad you enjoyed the writing and menu! Thanks for playing!

This is really solid for a few hours of work! I'm quite bad at coming up with words under stress as it turns out, and the host feels unbeatable with the crazy words that they pull out. But getting anything complete to submit in a few hours is definitely impressive, especially in your first jam. Great work!

I had fun making that main menu, glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!

I definitely had this happen in the lower numbers, on one of my first few runs the count up didn't happen at all until I hit zero. I wasn't going quick either, the timers definitely ran out. I was really surprised when it went back up to 1 on that run because I hadn't seen that yet and assumed it was a sort of "final boss" of the game, but then in my subsequent runs the same didn't always happen! No idea what I was doing that broke it.

Still had a ton of fun with it though, just letting you know in case you plan to work on this again after the jam!

So many avocados!

It turns out I am very bad at spending my money quickly, I got nowhere close to spending it all. Perhaps I just didn't find the best strategy though. Definitely an interesting idea for a game, sort of a reverse-incremental with a time limit on it.

Great to hear you enjoyed our game, thanks for playing!

This game is really addicting, one of my favorites so far! Simple but very satisfying, this did an excellent job of making me feel like I was pulling off some really cool moves when it was probably luck most of the time. The mismatched movement of the paddles was really interesting too, there was many times I messed myself up trying to do something with the other paddle. I feel like the simple art style worked really well for this type of game as well!

I do think I found a bug, in some rounds the score counter would count back up when a timer hit zero, but other times it didn't. Not sure what I was doing differently to cause that to appear, it also changed mid-run sometimes. Overall though, I had a ton of fun with this one, great work!

Glad you enjoyed, thanks for playing!

This one had me hooked! Definitely required a lot of focus but the gameplay loop was really satisfying. I really enjoyed the visual style, although the filter-like effect did make it a bit difficult to read text at times. The charging and discharging idea is a really interesting one to bring into a tower defense game, definitely makes it much more actively engaging than the typical "set up your towers and watch it play out" style of game.

I will say perhaps the balancing could use a bit of improvement, only because I managed to beat the game without realizing there was a shop (totally my bad, I accidentally skipped that bit of tutorial text). I didn't acquire any upgrades during my playthrough and I was still able to beat every level. Even without the shop though the game was still engaging and enjoyable, very well done!

This one was a lot of fun, the gameplay feel great and the style is fantastic as well! It's really satisfying somehow getting a crazy tower to balance when it really has no right to. I also love the idea that the monstrosities I created are somehow "luxury homes". Gameplay wise, the timer here adds a really interesting incentive to build up fast rather than setting a solid base, because you'll miss the opportunity for extra time if you try to fill out the ground level. A ton of fun overall!

Loved this one! You nailed the stressful atmosphere, the music was spot-on and the flashing red lights really made me feel the panic. I enjoyed the retro art style, it all felt very cohesive, and the narrative into/outro was great as well. The only thing I might add to this game would be to make the challenges harder as the night progresses, for example adding more lights to the "simon says" game. Overall though the game was focused and polished, really well done for a game made in such a short time!

Glad you liked it, thanks for playing our game!

A quick little game that works exactly as advertised. I didn't run into any bugs or other issues during my playthrough, except that it took me a few tries to understand what the goal of the game was. A line in the game itself about the goal would have been helpful! I also agree that maybe the buttons could have been bigger and in the middle of the screen. I did enjoy the music and the background art on the levels!

Wow, thank you for taking the time to record your playthrough! I appreciate the opportunity to watch your journey through the game and learn how we can improve our games in the future. You definitely had some fair points for small improvements we could have made!

I'm sorry you encountered this bug, it seems to be related to the resolution of the game and we've updated our game's description with a fix for those who encounter it. I'm guessing it's a problem for those with 4k monitors specifically, as neither my 1080p or 1440p monitors have the same issue on 100% zoom.

Thanks for playing, and for sharing your playthrough with us!

I was super engaged with this one, once I understood what the second room was asking of me that became the highlight of my playthrough. I became really invested in getting those answers correct, but unfortunately my lack of experience with darts threw off my whole board, I had no idea a space was called a field. Still had a lot of fun with it though! I enjoyed the voice acting and narrative as well, it was clever and made me want to play through to the end to see what would happen.

Unfortunately I did experience the mouse drift bug as well, which made the final room essentially unplayable. I'm using a mouse and keyboard, and the drift occurred whether or not I had a controller plugged into my PC. It always seems to drift left for me on small movements.

Aside from that bug though, this game is really polished and has a lot of the nice-to-have features that tend to get left behind in a jam for the sake of time. Subtitles, control rebinding, volume options, and so on. Very well done overall!

Thank you for reporting this bug! I did some experimentation and found that it's the zoom level affecting the game resolution which causes this to occur. I've added a note in the description!

Thanks for playing our game!

I like the survivors-like idea, having plants to help defend is a neat twist on that. Unfortunately I couldn't seem to figure out how to actually plant the seeds, even after I found some and picked them up. The main character and the enemies that I did get to see were cute though, and I think this idea has a lot of potential!

I can definitely relate, a simple stopwatch was always a relief during playtesting runs. Glad you thought the omni-clock was fun as well, we had fun making it! Thanks for playing!

That's good to know, we probably should have left a note about the alarm in the manual as well. I'm glad we were able to bring you some browser game nostalgia, I loved those old games too. Thanks for playing!

I loved how much style you managed to fit into this simple gameplay loop with the music and enemies, and the timer works well here because it forces you to leave safety to seek out enemies. I also very much appreciated that you took the time to add a sensitivity bar to the options menu because it's so important in this type of game. My one suggestion is that a "hold click to shoot" option would have been helpful even if it's not at the quickest rate, because the clicking definitely starts to hurt after a few minutes. Overall though, great work!

Thanks for playing our game and for the kind words!

This is the most stressful game about basic math I have ever played, and I mean that in the best possible way. The art is perfectly disturbing, the audio fits the atmosphere and the game just felt great overall. This is a simple but excellent take on the theme!

This is a good idea for a game, but unfortunately I had some trouble figuring out how to play it! From the screenshots in the description it seems like I should be able to get out of the train to grab the resources, but I couldn't figure out how to get off the train once I was on it. A reminder of the controls in game would also have been helpful because there were a lot of them! The train movement and track switching were all smooth though, I was able to drive around to all the stations and pick up passengers successfully.

This is a cute game! I enjoyed the art style, it's a smart use of simple animations that add a lot to the feel of the game. The game is easy to understand and a perfect length for a jam game. I did run into some issues where the sheep collisions block one another, especially on bridges or when trying to get them into the pen. I also ran into a few cases where the sheep didn't give off the flashing indicator that they were following me, so it wasn't super clear that they were. But overall I had fun with this one, good work!

This is a cute game and premise! At first I was unsure of how to determine which dogs were a match, but I realized the indicators were color-coded and that was helpful. I agree with others that everything felt a bit small which made it harder to see those indicators. I think less dogs to start with might have helped it to feel more focused too. But the little dog models and their animations were very cute, and the music was a good choice too!

Appreciate the kind words, thanks for playing!

Appreciate the feedback, I can understand wanting to speed up the exploration process after a few times through it. Thanks for playing my game!

I'm glad you enjoyed the style, thanks for playing!

I really enjoyed this game! The atmosphere and the visuals are fantastic. Loved the little detail where the small character had the key on his back, if you had one. The music and sound design was perfect, the music was gentle but mysterious and the sound effects were subtle, it created the feeling of exploring somewhere abandoned but full of secrets. The puzzle design was good, not too difficult but still engaging, I played the game all the way through to the end.

The only place I really got stuck was very early on, in the room in the screenshot below. I feel that the door itself is a bit misleading, I saw the lock on it, but it also looks like there's a hole in it where the small version could fit through (the little black spot in the bottom left). It made me think the lock was a distraction and getting the little guy onto the platform was the goal of the room, but I couldn't figure out how to do that. Eventually I did figure it out when I finally saw the "key not found" text at the top.

As others have said, the camera could be a bit difficult. Personally, the mouse click to rotate felt odd to me, and it took a while to get used to. I feel that maybe Q/E for camera and mouse for interact may have been more intuitive, but that may just be me. It also felt way too zoomed in when I was in the smaller form. Also, the ice physics on the movable blocks was a bit difficult to work with.

Overall though, really great game for a four day game jam, I had a lot of fun playing it!

You can make a really, really big monkey. This is a good idea for a game that has a lot of potential to be expanded upon. Small things like a health bar for the castles and a pause button would help the game feel more polished, but it was a fun experience nonetheless. Loved the music!

What a great game, and a fantastic take on the theme! The staccoons are adorable, the newspapers were funny, and the feeling of getting that insanely high stack of staccoons is great. Airdropping all of your gathered staccoons on the way to the final island is hilarious, and I'm glad there was a bin to bring them all back over to join me. The level design was excellent, the world was open but there was a logical progression that the game offered without too much hand-holding. The music was also very fitting!

The only critique I have for this game is that I really felt like I was fighting the camera sometimes. It clips through objects in a way that prevented me from getting a good angle on what I was doing sometimes. I was also unable to get a direct overhead view, which would have been helpful for some of the puzzles where you have to airdrop your staccoons onto buttons or land on a narrow area. But overall a fantastic game, one of my favorites so far!

A simple game idea executed quite well, I liked the creativity in the challenges you'd face as you got higher up. Some of the ladder pieces were really tricky to get if they happened to spawn in the wrong place with the wrong wind direction, it felt like I had no chance of getting it to the ladder but I may just have a slow reaction time perhaps. Overall a solid game!

I'm glad you found the game immersive despite being mostly text based, I tried to give the events enough interest to make up for the lack of visuals. Definitely agree on the sound effects, I cut them for the sake of time but they would have added a lot to the feel of the game I think. Thanks for playing!

Really entertaining game, the perfect amount of silly to keep me entranced. Was not expecting the big bugs at the end but it was a great finish to the game, I ended up playing it multiple times just to see what other bugs there were.

Appreciate the feedback! The balance is something I didn't get to spend as much time as I'd like on, I agree that it might be a bit too easy to get to the second planet. Thanks for playing!

Glad you found something to enjoy even if it wasn't your preferred genre, thanks for playing!
