Nice idea and it looks good but other than the plant I couldn't really tell what the objects were doing. The little guy just seemed to die at random while running from item to item.

Also the sprites had occasional depth sorting artifacts.

This is a really cool entry, I enjoyed it and it seems I haven't discovered all possibilities yet ! Congrats on the great work :)

I like the concept--I think it could be expanded upon after the jam! It might be fun if you could almost make a sim death "assembly line." I had some trouble figuring out how to use the objects to kill them, though. Some descriptions on the item would go a long way!

This is a nice game! I don’t think I’ve found most of the interactions, but I’ve found at least two. I hope it’ll be clearer in the future when a smi has died, and what the cause is, because it’s a little unintuitive right now. It also took me quite a while to figure out that you have to click the price tag to buy the item.

I'm afraid one more comment for "I don't understand what the intended interactions are"

Through the comments you have already recieved criticism on the things i will say so i'll keep it simple :)

The game looks amazing, has a nice music (but a little bit repetitive for my taste) and the idea of instead of taking care of the "SMIS" you have to kill them is amazingly good, i loved that. The problem is that the lack of intuitivity made me lose my interes quite fast, i just placed a lot of beds through the house and made my SMIS sleep, but couldn't think about how to kill him... This game with a liiittle bit of work on those small things would probably be a very good game, i hope you fix it so i can enjoy killing some smis ;)

It is unfortunate that this game looks so nice and has such a cool concept, but is 0% intuitive. I couldn't figure out how to place the objects. You could at least put instructions or controls in the game's description.

I like the artstyle, but could'nt figure out what to do, so i just annoyed my resident by turning on lamp, fan and tv in his bedroom :D

Cool take on the theme! I enjoyed it :D

i couldnt figure out how to place things

Developer

Hi! Very sorry for your confusion. We, unfortunately, didnt have much time to implement some sort of guidance through a tutorial or more clear UI, but we will keep this in mind when we update the description of the game soon! Thank you for your feedback!

Sorry but I can't play without knowing the controls man

Fun, although a bit confusing. What do you mean I can't lock them in the freezer but they'll drown on their own?

Developer

Hi! Extremely understandable! We aimed to get as many weird interactions as possible to win the game, but well look forward to implement a way to kick their little booty into the freezer. :D Thank you for your feedback!

The game looks great! The music was great and I liked how the UI was perfectly done to fit the game. The art style was also very well made. Congrats!

Developer

Hi! Very glad you enjoyed and noticed our nod to a totally non-existent game :D Thank you for your feedback!

Cute game, love the art and gameplay! It's reset one me at least twice, does that mean I win, or did I trigger something to restart?

Developer

Hey! Glad you enjoyed our game! The resets mean you figured a way to kill a resident! Unfortunately we didnt have enough time in order to give that feedback to the player, but we aim to clarify things in the game description. Thank you for your feedback!

Sweet! And I feel that I wanted to implement a game over screen/delay, but lacked the time.
