How does your game fit the theme?
In most action strategy games (Batman Arkham, Shadow of Mordor) intel NPCs are targeted by the player and forced to divulge information. In our game, you ARE the intel-gathering character, spying on the hero in order to serve your evil overlord.

Very original idea! This could becomea 3d game, in which you have also verticality to use!  Anyway, I will add some other distractions for the hero, for example you can burn down a house in the map to make him save the inhabitans and buy some time.
Good job team!!!

nice game playing as monster protecting other monsters from hero, the player controller want a little fix. it wil be great if you add move to look direction !!

I think the concept of it is great, but the gameplay itself needs fleshed out. It is more of spin around the enemy while they attempt to chase you. Music is fantastic though!

The music and the idea for this is great! I just think that it didn't really feel like  "spying" as it was more just getting chased by the hero while you look at them.

Very cool! I really vibe with the style and art. Am I wrong in thinking the track for level two is very inspired by a song from Lena Raine’s Celeste soundtrack? It’s very nice either way!

BINGO! You caught me! I was trying SO hard to not use the literal motif from Resurrections, but I had a hard time making it sound truly different. It also doesn't help that I somehow managed to write it in the same key. Lol. Full song here:

Glad you enjoyed our game and my music :)

The music is really punchy! The concept is there and the fact you have to come close to the enemy while not being detected or touched leads to some really nice panic situations! Overall if you make the movement a little tighter (currently moving and rotating is kinda hard), the mechanic is nice.

Please do check out our little game too

I think it's a bit too easy and repetitive? The hero follows you very narrowly at all times which kinda forces and encourages you to just walk around in circles as you scan them (which also doesn't quite feel like "spying" on them). I like the concept though. The visuals are nice and the music is honestly great!

So glad to hear you liked my music!! I Had a ton of fun writing everything from scratch during these crazy hectic 48 hours lol

The music is great, I at first thought it couldn't have been made for during the jam. Unfortunately, though the idea is interesting, I think this game suffers from insufficient development time to execute it.

We scoped a little too big, but our composer was amazing! I wish more of his tracks made it into the final version.

All music made during the jam, yeah!! I had a lot of fun writing it. Super glad you like the music. :)

The player speed and the speed of the hero being the same made it a little too easy to just kite the hero around in a circle. The idea behind using the orcs as a distraction is interesting, but I never really had to. Also I probably wouldn't have rotated the player sprite with your cone of vison. Still a cute idea with some really interesting ideas in there!
