Transporting a ball with two planes. Can't say I've seen a concept like this in the Jam. Its presented well and is decently polished. Good work !

Well, definitely a fun game concept, but really.. clunky movement and camera.

This is a really neat concept and I had a lot of fun trying to get my ball as far as possible. Managed just over 500. My main feedback would be to have something to stop the planes flying off if you move the mouse to the edge of the screen, but this is a minor fix in a very fun game.

A fun little game with nice graphics. Maybe wait a second for the player before starting it. Great concept!

This game is really addicting and I like it. The controls are a little wonky at first but when you get used to it the game actually feel kinda nice

It's a clever concept, but I think it's let down by how twitchy the planes are to control. They're either not moving fast enough or zooming off uncontrollably.

Very interesting idea for a game, although a little repetitive after a while as it doesn't get easier or harder.

When I first played and the ball fell, my first instinct was to avoid it. I then proceeded to fly around aimlessly wondering what I was supposed to do for a few minutes.

Some kind of indication that the ball was not an enemy could be helpful, like perhaps an arrow that points to the ball as it falls for the first 5 seconds that says "catch" and an arrow that points to the trampoline that says "bouncy" or something. These can then fade once they've been understood.

I enjoyed the concept, overall a nice idea.

Due to a time shortage I've decided for it to be a endless runner, and the obstacles are chosen randomly from a pool, I'm aware that it is a bit repetitive.

Lack of a proper tutorial is also a result of time shortage.

Thanks for feedback, It is very helpful to improve this and future games!

fun concept but hard to control both of the planes

Developer

Yeah, it can be a bit buggy, thanks for feedback!

Surprisingly addicting, loved the concept. Sometimes the ball bounced in weird ways but nothing that important. Great game!

Developer

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it :)

The physics-based challenge of moving the ball is intriguing, especially when dealing with two different control sets. However the ball physics does not seem responsive, and the planes move way too fast.

Developer

I'm planning to improve planes mechanics, but could you elaborate on ball physics not being responsive?

It could help me to work on it.

Thanks for feedback!

really cool idea.

I sometimes had to bounce the ball through the top of the map to get passed some walls but I really like the creative concept.

great work

Developer

Thanks for feedback!

The moments you mention when you have to throw ball over the screen occur because of spawner randomly choosing which obstacle to place next and some obstacles are not harmonize well with others.

I'm planning to work on this issue.

I'm really glad you liked it!

Interesting idea! I included it in my GMTK compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Developer

Thanks for playing and including my game in your video!

I enjoyed the game as I found the mechanics intuitive and surprising. That said, every time I lost was because my mouse went over the right edge of the game screen accidentally which causes the mouse plane to take of without recourse. One of the more memorable entries!

Developer

Thank you for feedback :)
I'm thinking of restricting mouse plane movement to provide less chaotic outcome.

This game is not the most pretty game or the most original game I've played in this jam, but definitely is the one that I most enjoyed. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks, visuals were made in a hurry, my main goal was for the game to be enjoyable, so I'm glad it was for you :)

best one control wise yet - didn't feel like I was being punished every time for not getting the control scheme immediately.

Developer

Thank you :)
I wonder if control won't be unintuitive, I'm glad that it wasn't for you!

It's a very satisfying game, in the vein of flappy bird (and stuff like it).

I think that if the mouse-plane (Pink) didn't *exactly* follow the mouse - and was speed-restricted instead, this would be improved by a lot. While having the asymmetry of movement is an interesting dynamic, having Pink drag the keyboard-plane (Green) around feels a bit... infantilizing to Green. I something had the pair move forward too far, and had to backtrack with Green.

A longer camera distance would be useful to strategically plan out your moves. Sometimes I would find the next blocker too late to do anything about.

I enjoyed it very much!

Developer

Yeah, I should probably restrict pink plane movement to arm reach, the same as the green one.

As for the camera, maybe I will make it center on the left side of a screen, so player would see further ahead.

Thanks for feedback!

Nice game! I enjoyed the cooperative mechanics between the two planes. Very original, very nice! Good job

Developer

Thanks for playing and comment :)

I'm glad you liked it!

I am astonished at just how fun I found this game! This got really compelling really quickly once I realised what was going on!

That being said, I didn't know what I was meant to be doing for a while and just bounced the ball up. The controls are very odd, but I think they work really really well, for some reason. Honestly, this is the most fun on one of these games so far. Really well done!

Developer

Thank you for kind words :D

When I thought out my mechanics I didn't think I'll have to solve so many math problems.

So after I had just raw mechanics it was few hours left and didn't have time for proper tutorial, sorry!

I'm glad that at least mechanic is fun, it is important to me :)
