I like the mechanic of linking yourself to the enemies and shocking through the network of chains.  The game's art and music fit the gameplay and atmosphere as well. Great job, I would love to see more.

This game desperately needs a little tutorial level where the game kinda teaches you how to play. I found myself just clicking buttons and not really even knowing how to be sure that I had assigned everyone a task before ending my turn. From what I understand it's a cool concept, but I just wish it taught me better how to play! Even having something for now on your game page would likely be enough to clarify the basic controls/goals of the game, cuz I know tutorial levels aren't really a priority when you have 48 hours to make a thing!

Also, having the first couple enemies be the same as one of the playable characters really messed with my head. Were they on my team? Which one of us is hitting? At least re-coloring the enemy would've made it clearer who the good guys and the bad guys are!

Lastly, the little equipping menu was a little weird. I still don't know why I can kinda equip the main two characters (is it picking party members? maybe have a heading that says party?) and I didn't get far enough to get any snazzy equipment, but I was thinking that I had missed something by leaving those slots blank. Some small headers in that area would be nice to make it clearer what that is!

Thank you for the advice! I've added a short how-to-play on the game page for future players. The lack of tutorial is one thing I really regret about the game. I hope to take your advice with me on my next game jam! Thank you again!

Very well done! I liked the level select screen's little window into the next level. It took me a while on Level 3 to figure out how to equip the upgrades from storage, but I got there eventually. The enemy encounters were well designed. Some mechanics were puzzling to figure out, but I got there eventually.

A tight turn-based rpg!

The idea of the game is interestingly smart and I can see how it fits with the theme. I can play until level 3 only haaaha I think I don't understand the rule/concept fully. Maybe if there is a tutorial or instruction, I can enjoy it more. Also when I'm in Level 3 a few times, there's the 3 options (beam, surge, hook) but i tried clicking every single one and there is no response. I don't know if I did it wrong or what. Another one is the box of 'End Turn' overlaps with the main menu when I was done with Level 2. About some words, I'm not sure what they are haha (activing, beamoliths, surgeant)

As for the music and the sound effect, pretty nice. It gives a 'panicky' mood haaha and I like the characters movement. Also, good binary joke. Didn't expect to learn it here hahaah.

Anyway, Interesting Product kingoftheconnors :)

Really cool concept, and really well executed! The game looks and feels really great, and I really enjoyed it!
Great work!

Great idea, sort of a puzzler with an RPG feel. I wish this core idea had been developed a little more as well as explained better. I loved the music, too.

So bloody interesting! Loved the level select

Wish there were more powers. Also, I couldn't finish six-level. How do u beat it?

Glad you enjoyed it!

Here's a hint: It revolves around Charge. It's not explained completely, but charge doubles the actions of connected allies. So if your ally has Beam and Hook, they can do two Beams and two Hooks next turn!

Interesting I gave Hook and Surge to the top guy because he had more healt but gonna try it this way

The music really fits the game ^^ the game crashed when I died in the last level ^^

I love the sound and the humor! The game feels great and I love the idea of linking spread attacks in a turn based game. My only complaint is it was hard to figure out how things worked but there probably just wasn't time to add a tutorial. Good job!

Thank you so much!
