I'm really impressed with the quality of graphics and sound in such a short time frame!

Yeah what the heck our ideas were almost identical xD

(1 edit)

i 100% agree with you! We ran out of time and had to settle on one basically identical attack for each enemy. The dice attacks needed a lot more thought. We mostly just took the 1st things we came up with because of the time restraints. It was my first time making an isometric game and I struggled to get the attacks to line up. It would have been cool if after each enemy, you could upgrade some dice rolls like, double fish and they’re only on the enemies side or homing doge rocket. But for the time limit, I think it turned out pretty good. I’m proud of the crazy goofiness 😆 Thanks for the thoughtful feedback!

Soooo good! The concept is great! It's balanced and beautiful! And it's super enjoyable!! Gave me undertale vibes xD Easily the best I've played so far!

It's well polished but it didn't engage me at all. Maybe I just don't like clicker games but I don't understand the hype

Yeah we were inspired by the old battle network games! Thanks for playing!

Beautiful background! I love the idea of the dice roll producing random attacks! We actually did the same thing in ours. Great job overall!

Great idea! I'd love to see it polished up!

Every time I felt like I was figuring it out it would soft lock :( but I love the character designs and how choosing the right dice and attack combos could make low rolls useful

Thanks for the input! We definitely wanted to make the lanes clearer but we ran out of time. It sucks when you dodge into doge because you couldn’t tell which lane he was in 😅

I wish you guys had more time to work on this! It would be cool if you could drag and drop objects in the dungeon into your pocket to pull out and use later or if dealing dmg to those cracks on the floor opened up a hole you could drop down or trick enemies into falling in. But time crunches do be time crunches sometimes

Took a sec to figure out what the elements did but the idea is really cool! I like how you can dodge certain "power ups" to give yourself better odds of getting the element you want. I also really like the art direction. I kept falling through the stage though and that got frustrating. I could see this being really fun if you polished up the movement and did some bug fixing :)

Love the mechanics and the level design is super solid! Great puzzles! The art and music fit really well too!

Grounds too slippery and you shouldn't have to start over, but I like the idea of a chicken carrying it's egg down the mountain

I'm still working on the game and a tutorial is at the top of my list! Just ran out of time for the jam. Thanks for the review!

Wait you killed the kids!? You monster! xD

yeah that’s understandable. The time limit’s a killer

Favorite game of the jam I've played so far! Wonderful job with the gameplay but even more so with the graphics

I completely agree with you! There wasn't time to do that in the jam but we're going to keep working on it so we'll add that in for sure! Thanks so much for the feedback!

I love that you're just this huge sumo guy rolling around lol. Having to place your own platforms is a really cool mechanic

Love the idea! Solid level design but sometimes the bullets bounce the wrong way

There's no download :(

The time limits rough. Good job overall!

I love the sound and the humor! The game feels great and I love the idea of linking spread attacks in a turn based game. My only complaint is it was hard to figure out how things worked but there probably just wasn't time to add a tutorial. Good job!

It wouldn't let me past the title screen. Seemed like it's missing assets or something. I really liked the title screen though!

I love the level design and the idea for the game :) I was hoping they'd get crazy hair but they never did :(

This was amazing xD. The challenge of multitasking the different character is really fun and I love that they propose when they meet in the middle! I also really love the puzzles. The difficulty is just right and the sound track is simple but entertaining. Masterpiece!
