Now this is an awesome combination with cool interactions! Great work. Looks nice too.

However, I personally feel it is a bit "slow", and I had a hard time getting used to the swinging mechanic.

Yeah I have to agree, the game is tought to play, but it is quite fun and original! Great idea and well executed!

So, there I was, casually enjoying this cool building game where you can swing on nails and build a tower, and then BOOM, there's ANOTHER game where you have to help a giant robot fight a giant lizard. Both games were lots of fun to play, even though I could never keep my job.

Great art, great music, and an original idea. Well done Dr. Squirtz!

Wow, that is really awesome game! Please add web version at future!

Will do, coming next week!

Such a unique and polished game! I really like this. The bendy hammer mechanic and watching the fight rage in the background were probably my favorite things. The art also is very nicely polished, both in-game and in your cover art.

I really appreciate the freedom of thought and creativity put into this game. Well done!

A very unusual concept of the game. But cool and atmospheric. Nails are very fun to hammer.

Really cool art and the hammering felt really satisfying! The monster/robot appearing startled the heck out of me but it soon became clear what I had to do. Good job! :D

Amazing! Great concept! Controls where a little tough to master but other then that it was great :D

Whoa, this was a really ambitious game jam game! Really creative take on the theme. I wish I wasn't so bad at playing it, lol. Good job!

Absolutely loved it! Really creative use of the theme, well executed (but you're right its a touch hard :P )

Developer(+1)

That means a lot, thank you!

high stress gameplay i came here for! probably the most creative interpretation of the theme that i've seen. it felt like an old arcade game but with spectacular art. seriously incredible. i agree that the controls were a little wonky but honestly i didn't care; when the battle music started i was super jazzed. the hammer hitting the nail sound was also super satisfying. I loved feeling like if Bob the Builder became a Power Ranger 5 stars!

Glad you liked it so much, I appreciate it!

This has to be the most original implementation of the theme that I've seen. Really great stuff.

I really like the gameplay and the art is amazing, I think the camera shake is a bit much, but otherwise great job!

Holy there's a lot going on in this game! Cool illustrations and audio! I think introducing the different elements more slowly would help haha I got fired very quickly at first. Also love the idea of combing the building with giant monster fights!

Great concept and a good tackle on the theme :)

"Hopefully nothing goes wrong today" they say hahaha.

I'm a bad builder but this game is groovy enough that I don't care.

Submitted(+1)

Almost fooled into thinking this would be a casual builder game until only a few seconds later a giant robot is fighting the Godzilla lmao. It was chaotic for me, I don't have enough time to learn the game yet. I'm not entirely sure what I should do but the battle scene was epic and I like the concept of hammering the nail. It's creative. The artwork is on point too! Great job!

Super amazed at your work! The amount of mechanics you were able to include, as well as the artwork you had it great! Even though every single one of your mechanics on their own were very interesting and deserved games of their own, I felt like it took away from the overall experience trying to juggle them all. That could just be me being bad at the game however. Even with that I still found it all super impressive, and especially the swinging mechanic to be really fun to use! I'd love to see something further with this, maybe focused on building and swinging. Overall great game!

It's not just you, the game was way too hard. I think if I slowed the pacing down and had the difficulty slowly increase instead of starting at 200% the game would have gone over a lot better

Okay now this is on a WHOLE new level.  For one the art was clearly made by professionals.  It looks so polished, and the detail is soooo good.  Just look at the game over screen.  It's amazing.  The plot/premise of the game is so WILD. I love it.  If this game will be in the top 20.  Theres no way it can't

Really appreciate the kind words. I'm a bit less optimistic than you, with my slightly finicky controls and way-too-steep difficulty curve I think I might have missed the mark with this one, but I appreciate the enthusiasm!
