Wow, I like that game ! I love the fact that it's closer to a puzzle plateformer than what I was expercting when launching the game, the others gamejam entries with a similar idea were all about shooting stuff. So I was suprised in a good way !

Also, the level of polishing is crazy good ! The only complaint I could say, is that the camera rotation that follow the ship rotating makes it hard memorize the level layout. You've probably had this critic a lot of time, so anyway : one of the best entry I've played so far ! Congratz !

Holy shit! The polish is insane! And the physics are fantastic! It's so intuitive to control and handles like a dream. The feeling of not knowing which direction is up in space is just so brilliantly translated to a 2D game space. It's just such an incredible experience to play. Lovely work! This makes me think I'd play the hell out of an immersive 3D space sim, where literally the entire gameplay is going from point to point and tightening bolts or something. Great entry!

Very Interesting concept. I enjoyed the mechanics of the ship quite a bit!

This has been by far my favorite game I've played this jam! Love the atmosphere (pun intended), art, movement, music, concept. It was so satisfying to move around and then the surprise at the end gave me the stupidest grin.

My only complaints would be the camera can be a bit nauseating at times, the controls while you hit the nail on the head, if you made a mistake and kinda lose control and spiral out i have to hold the rotate button while i wait for the screen to stop spinning like I've had one too many.  My suggestion to the latter would be some sort of "auto correct" button kinda like you see in outer wilds.

Would love to see a full version of this!

I loved this! It was really fun, even if nauseating haha! It controls really well (I mean, sometimes clunky on purpose but that's the point and is very fun!)

It was very fun to have a big station and start to get a good amount of speed! I did encounter a physics but where one of the joints went haywire, but other than that it was all very polished and fun!

Congrats on submitting and thanks for the game!

This game is interesting! I'm not quite sure what can I do in the beginning, but the goal becomes clear after I fly around and try to grab some blocks.

I also enjoy the music!(sfx is a liitle bit to loud though)

It's really a nice concept, good job! : )

Really fun game. making wacky shapes was my favorite part. I'm curious if there is a lose condition? I thought touching rocks would have me take damage somehow, but then I realized they didn't. I just sorta played until I felt done.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words! There's a proper ending, with an epic sequence where you pull a really really really big thing.
There is no hard "game over", but it is possible to loose the blocks in the space in a way that makes it impossible to win - something that we didn't manage to tune before the submission.

Thanks a lot for playing!

Very cool game and idea, but rotation of the camera make me a little dizzy :)

You may also look at our game too, if you have a time :)

Great work!
Unfortunately, I had some motion-sick playing this game.

Developer

we see a lot of people had this feeling.

We are taking all this in account and after the jam it’s one of the first issues we’ll solve with an option to be able to make a fix camera ^^

Thanks for playing :-)

Noice!  Liked the idea of collecting different parts with different powers.  The tention of the added ship parts was happy.  The adaptive music was a pleasant touch. The spinning of the camera made me quite dizzy after a bit though.

nice game.

Nice work! Although, the spinning camera did make me dizzy, I also found it mesmerizing...

I just LOVED this so much. The music adding up, the tension to navigate on the empty space, the feeling of being a cargo ship that needs to clean space trash, I love every aspect of it. The ending was the cherry on the cake, congratulations, one of the best games I've played so far in this jam!

Amazing job, one of my favourite games so far I've played from the Jam. The physics are amazing, flying through space feels great and collecting the pieces and bringing them where they should be as well and the music and sounds are really fitting. My favourite part was the one in the end, just smashing through everything haha. Great job!

Developer(+1)

πŸ™ thanks a lot! Very happy to hear that you made it to the end!

The game is pretty cool and a lot of the physics is great. I got vertigo from spinning lol. I think the adaptive audio is really cool and how it triggers as you collect more blocks. It was difficult trying to find the last set of blocks and I wasn't too sure how different elements actually related to each other or made a difference.

Cool game!  I really liked the visuals and audio.  My main suggestion would be to somehow keep the camera fixed.  I had fun trying to navigate around the areas, but I got dizzy pretty fast.  Overall, I think you did a good job on this game.

Wow! Really cool interpretation of the theme! LOVE the presentation. Nice clean art style. Also, the icons on each ship component are a nice touch. The soundtrack was my favorite part, how it builds with each new component.

The camera was a bit dizzying at times though. After a while I had completely lost where I was on the map, just blindly following waypoints. An option to turn off camera rotation would've gone a long way.

Overall, the concept shows lots of potential and the presentation is already perfect. Would love to see you continue to develop the game and add more stuff!

Super fun! It's the first space game I've played so far :D Makes me respect that people really dock spaceships to space stations ahaha.  Super neat game for sure~ check out mine if you have time.

I like the visual style! It's clean and reads well. The thrust power is pretty low so it's hard to move around quickly but I dunno if the intent is for it to be a very slow paced experience hehe. Also the camera movement is cool and immersive but a little dizzying - might be a good idea to have a fixed rotation option for those who are particularly sensitive lol. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, indeed with tried both camera options.
Fixed rotation was a bit stiff and bringing the overall feel a bit down and less polished.
Camera with a bit of damping was making a better feeling tho
But the idea to add it as an option is actually super smart ^^

For the movements, since we were working with physics it was kind of tricky to gauge it to avoid having a lot of speed and loosing control and smashing debris around.
Also if at some point it becomes a full game it would be nice to be able to change the behavior of the ship with modules.
:-)

Whilst sometimes it can feel a bit hard to control, I really like the way this game exploits the idea of connecting different parts together (many games going for a much more traditional approach)

Developer (1 edit)

The controls are a bit the tricky aspect of the game since it is Physic based.
Actually! maybe changing the steering power if you are going slow or standing still could improve the agility of the ship in some needed situations.
Thanks for the feedback!
