There's a few mechanically similar games in this year's jam but this is a fav in terms of presentation. The art and music just sells it so well. Great submission.

Super cute game with some solid dopamine rushes when you get a big combo of souls getting eaten up! The mixing of the story with the tutorial and the great art accompanying it really added a lot to the overall game with style & cuteness points

I would have loved to see some form of combo counter to help drive you to really hit solid chains or herd souls together to get some big numbers flying!

Great entry and good job to the team! Love seeing a solid team game in a jam :)

I like how the dog pulls the player around and sort of fights against the player a small bit, i like the opening sequence also which was a nice touch, good work :)

Really fun little arcade game!

My high score was 1660!

I wanted more juice in the later bits of the game. It got really intense with so many things to avoid, but I didn't feel like it was getting any more complex. Something like a combo system or powerups would be a fun direction to take the game in the future I think!

Great job!

Very cool idea! I wish there would be more differences in tempo duing the game (ex: at some intervals the dog pulls harder for a short amount of time, or you can direct his anger once in a while with the use of a treat), and some other mechanic than an "infinite" game that just gets harder. But it's a neat concept :) Oh, and a cool pun too ^^

Really cool! It's a nice mechanic how there is actual push and pull between the guard and his dog. Colors and art also look really nice, honestly can't believe it was done in 48 hours!

We had a similar idea with out game to last as long as possible, but we set it up in a wave format instead.

Nice! I had an idea about a dog-walking game years ago, but of course I didn't think about this until I was well into the jam.

This is a very nice execution (much better than the non-idea I had lol). I was a little confused about which ghosts were bad at first. I expected them to be red since the "bad ghosts" slide had a red background, but once I saw the white ghosts, I went all out. The game controls pretty well at first. It seems like the hellhound gets stronger the longer the game goes (or the more points you get)? Once the arrow ghosts show up, the game dynamic changes a lot. The game looks really nice, too!

The archers ended up feeling a little out of place. The game takes on a bit of a bullet hell feel, but you lose control more with the hound. And bullet hell games are all about precision control. From a design standpoint, I think it'd feel better if you could eat the archers, too? But thematically, they're supposed to be the good guys, right? Felt a little disjointed. But I'm only nitpicking. Y'all did great. This is a good game and a good jam.

Well done!

Nice game, I like that the dog just moves on his own. It does get really hard later on but I guess that just means I need to try harder :P. Also I loved the song that played during the gameplay
