I LOVE the mood on this one. Really liked the simple, but interesting mechanics.
Not a huge fan of the ending sequence shooting mechanic itself, but I think it was still a really awesome twist for the arcade structure, so it enjoyed it a lot.
One thing I will say is I felt the skip timer could be a bit more pronounced for the player when it's approaching. Maybe some audio cue with the colors

cool concept and the execution is great with a little tuning. a tutorial or intro would be nice but I figured it out none the less. I like how it becomes a fun game of choosing the right spot to kill all the squares in time. however if you let just one or two squares by you get overrun wayyy to quickly. it makes it near impossible to recover. just needs some minor tuning and a few unique levels and this is a solid release. great work!
Very unique idea. Though I feel like it spirals out of control rather quickly - and given the constant time pressure you're under there really isn't anything you can do to get back on track. That certainly fits the "out of control"-theme, but personally I would have preferred a purely turn-based system that rewards thinking more carefully about the ruleset that guides the spread. Anyhow, for a 48h game jam you did a really good job: love the minimal asthetic, the sounds fit very well, the twist when you're overrun is funny and nicely introduced and it seems you managed the scope of your game really well.
Can confirm I spent too much of the 48 hours trying to balance it, but it was always a super fine line between not being able to lose and losing too quickly! I decided to lean towards the game being a shorter experience since people would be playing many games this week (and I ran out of time for a few aid ideas I wanted, like limited "bombs" that could completely clear a large screen area). Thanks for playing and the feedback!
Very fun to play, the concept was very unique, simple and yet effective. Overall a very enjoyable experience, also like that it is available for linux.
Fun to play, couldn’t really understand what I was doing the first run, but afterwards It was fun to actually try to avoid being overrun, but it doesn’t feel like you can actually avoid it… unless?
Thanks, I was definitely cracking up at the game before the game idea while making it! All sound effect credit goes to RXI's awesome tool, check it out here!

Hey, I really liked it. The feeling I got when the enemy moved again because I took too long was hilarious. Very good job.
Beautiful game!! It very fun to play.
Submitting 4 minutes before the deadline very bold that could have gotten "out of control" :P
