How does your game fit the theme?
When your Dino gets scared from being hit by meteors you lose control of him until he calms down. Here is a link to a WebGL build of the game, it's exactly the same as the Windows Executable: https://curlytalegames.itch.io/dont-panic-dino-web

Funny game! The game works well however the food seems to eventually run out? That's not pleasant. And feels slightly too luck based if you get hit by one meteor and hope that you don't get hit by another one while feeding. Good job!
Nice mechanic, haven't seen this one until your game. The number of meteorites seems to be close to the optimum: you don't get overwhelmed by it while also staying focused on running. I wish the glowy hints before a meteor hits appeared a little earlier as I didn't have enough time to escape no matter how soon I spotted it. I love that goofy soundtrack btw.
Nicely done!
Thanks! It took a lot of balancing of meteor size, speed, and quantity. Yeah you're right, some of them are a little too quick to dodge.
Awesome entry. To me it's not really clear what the bar at the top indicates, but anyway, the character is funny, the music really fits, and the game itself is great. The fact that you get to a second state of imminent death and then eventually lose is similar to what my game does (self-promotion time) so why not giving it a go?
Btw my record is 3:13
Thanks, yeah the top bar represents how panicked you are, but I feel like I should have had it gone down instead of fill up. Like how other games do sanity bars.
It's fun to play. The silly music also fit the game so well.
Really really good-looking! Gamefeel is great too. I was left wondering why I can't move my dinosaur for a while even when I feed it though :( I feel like it'd have been awesome to have it revover from its "stun" when eating!
Thanks! Yeah I was planning on making an eating animation, but was running out of time so I went with a pulsating scaling of the character, but it's not that apparent to the player.
Oh, I love audio and asscetics in this one!
Thanks! I tried putting a more serious audio track behind it but this isn't that type of game haha. I had a lot of fun making it, and I'm glad you like it too :)

Very frantic and fun game! I really enjoy the music and the graphics. The premis was already done on the jam, but it does bring a new spin on it. Overall it was fun to play, and I enjoyed it! The only things I would suggest changing are the time it takes to feed him food, and making him stop panicking after a while, instead of HAVING to feed him. Overall very good jam entry, good job!
Thanks! I thought about making the feeding be instant but I wanted just waiting for him to run around out of control and eventually calming down to be a viable option as well
i had a very nice time playing this, the idea is very fun!
Thanks! I feel like it's an accurate depiction of how 2020 is going haha
Nice game
Thanks!!
Wow ! great approach and masterful use of assets
Thanks! I tried to optimize the most of my time by using as much premade stuff as I could :)
Woaw! We just love it!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!!!
I like the art. Overall it's a solid game
Thanks, I repurposed a lot of assets off the asset store, and thingiverse in order to make this game done in the timeframe. The character was originally meant to be 3d printed so I had to remove the printer supports, UV, texture, rig, and animate it. I tried to do some altering of the assets to make them all blend nicely together.
It's fun. Good take on the theme.
All working controls and menus.
Plays beautifully.
Thanks! I tried to keep things really simple. I paired down my original idea a lot. I was going to have a caveman riding the dino, and to get the meat you'd kill rabbit that were also roaming around, but I got rid of them to keep it to the core game play.
nice, Keep improving and adding your own ideas. :)
