Pretty good idea. With some more polishing it could become something to be played for a longer period of time. :)
Good job overall!
Fun little game,
better visuals would have been great,
just seeing little dots and whatever the bullets are supposed to be is a bit boring.
Menu looked great though,
Maybe add a 'next level' button so I don't have to go to main menu,
you dont want the player to break out of your game loop.
Also had a little bug where I could't move the last placed robot (sometimes I couldn't even see him)
It's really fun!!! If there were better graphics it would be better though.
The game was interesting to play, I passed all the level which was good. There was a small problem, sometimes some of the circles (mostly the one for 100) were not showing on when I bought them and then they were showing on when I pressed play. The game overall was really enjoyable and relaxing.
The gameplay is interesting, too bad there's little to no graphics. Nice game 💪
Fun fact; you can beat practically the whole game just with the basic red units. Just buy a whole bunch of them, surround the large groups of enemies, click "play", click "play" again, readjust your units to surround them, and rinse and repeat. Start circling smaller units (Like those green snipers, if you can see them) abit later.
I learned this shortly after seeing how effective level 5's circle formation was at obliterating anything within it. If it's not level 5, then i'm sorry, but as I was writing this i tried getting level 5 up, only to find the levels would no longer open .-. Weird glitch, but at least i beat the whole game anyway.
Btw, please don't take my comment as a negative; This game was great :D
Neat concept, but it was extremely hard to visually identify what was going on on the screen - from the tutorial you had to memorize in what order the robots were, as well as when placing them down which colour is what robot. For next time, I'd recommend trying to spend quite a bit of time making sure everything is visually distinct and readable to the player, as well as the UI should make clear what you're purchasing.
However, I love the concept of rogue AIs :)
OK, first things first: that red victory screen is really aggressively hurting my eyes :)
Ngl I'm not super impressed. Something like this could have potential, but here you have way too little info about units (your's and enemy units) to make meaningful decisions. It's trial and error for the most part.
Still, I assume that this took much more code than some other entries that play around with the physics engine for the most part :)
