Definitely the most polished game I've tried so far in this Game Jam! Pretty good game feel to it, maybe the jumping action feels a little bit too quick, but otherwise quite nice. I think my main critique is that I was missing some extra hook to justify the gimmick idea. When the cameraman focuses on the cat, for example, that was a bit more interesting than just an excuse for a classical scrolling level. So with more camera shenanigans like with the cat, this could be a very fun game to play!

Generally great work!

This game is very cool! I enjoyed it, it's a really clever concept that stands out! Also the music is Amazing, good job! rated! please check out my game too :D

Love the visuals, music and idea! I do wish it explored it a bit more because it felt a little like just a platformer with autoscroll sections. Would've been interesting if maybe the autoscroll could change directions and you had some kind of impact on that, I dunno. Also the controls were a little off, I'm not a fan of holding jump causing you to jump continuously. Other than that it was fun! I enjoyed the silly ending (especially the cat). I think you should explore this idea more!

That was great fun, difficult though. I think maybe the platforming felt a bit floaty. The presentation and music were also very nice, felt very polished.

Good idea, a bit hard but fun. Good luck!

Damn, I really liked it! I love it when the fourth wall breaks. Although simple, you managed to make a game quite challenging and fun! I didn't make it to the end (yet), but I will definitely play more later!

In my game, I also made a villain communicate with the player and interfere in his actions! (If you can play, I would appreciate it)

Following!

Haha, I'm a sucker for fourth wall breaks too! Your game is amazingly polished and I love the whole neon/cyber aesthetic.

That level when the cameraman takes over is brutal! Mostly for its length. So I didn't get farther. The game is pretty good, but the way the camera is 'Out of Control' I have seen many times before. Great work with the cameraman's banter though.

Thanks for the feedback! It did end up being more unoriginal than I first envisioned, originally each level was going to have the cameraman messing with the player in different ways, screen shake, changing the resolution, ect. But you know how time catches up with you in a jam haha.

Sorry to hear that. In reterospect I kinda wish I uploaded as HTML since Construct's export sizes are kinda huge, and apparently it's more reliable. I'll probably add a HTML version once the jam is over.
