Thanks so much!! I'll check out your game when I'm home from work

No worries, thanks for commenting anyway! Hoping to get a web build going next year

Great! There are many submissions to play, I will consider downloading yours if you manage to add a description or screenshot

Cool concept, great art, and just really fun! Awesome work!!

Is this a completed game? Don't want to risk downloading something with no description and no explanation of how it fits the theme. If you submitted just to be able to rate other peoples games, please state that somewhere!

Very cool game! Definitely frustrating getting damaged when moving to a new screen, but other than that it's awesome! Zelda 1 is great

Very cute! Love the art and concept. Is there a way to win? Can't tell if I'm just bad or not. Also upload some screenshots to your itch page! I'm always scared downloading a game with no screenshots/banner and all that

Awesome little horror experience! I like that the ideal way to escape the monster is to "loop" around it also. I definitely wish the monster paused when looking at notes, like another commenter said.

Very nice! I solved the mystery and got to the end! Love the artstyle, and the music was sweet but the dialogue sound did get pretty grating.

The story was great, I just wish there was some way to use the knowledge I gained in a previous loop to get further in dialogue without sprinting to each character and mashing through text. Every time I talked to the wrong person for a second I became frustrated that there was no way to insta-restart the loop (unless I just missed that?)
But great work overall!

When exporting using GameMaker for a Jam, I highly recommend exporting as a zipped exe, and NOT choosing Installer. It's just frustrating to have to install an entire app that needs to be uninstalled after, just for a game jam.

Other than that, great work! Love the art style so much! I got to day 6, with seemingly no changes so I assume there's nothing more to it. While I wish there was some small changes through the days, you certainly accomplished the goal of a never-ending monotonous 9 to 5!!

Cool idea! Was pretty buggy for me and I was unable to tell if my inputs were successful or not. Great art and music, though!

DEAR GOD THIS IS WHAT GAME JAMS ARE ALL ABOUT!!!!!

Great game, insane visuals, A++. You pulled off the frantic screen looping concept that my game was going for in such a hilariously fun way.

None of the downloads seem to work for me. They all give an error and warn that a .pck file may be missing, or that "if you've re-named the executable, the associated .pck file should be renamed to match it (without the extension)"

I recommend uploading some screenshots and writing a description of the game on your itch page. I'm a tad hesitant to download files from submissions that looks like this. Just a heads up!

Oof, wish this didn't get broken. Really incredible artwork, and wildly good soundtrack! Looking forward to more from all of you!

A little floaty of a platformer for my tastes, but great work on the time mechanics. Reversing in order to push the two buttons down was cool. Keep it up!

Hello fellow Snake-like game creators! Such a fun game, and the visuals/sound design are amazing. It's like Katamari mixed with... well, Snake! Amazing job on this.

A loose interpretation of the theme, but dang the art is nice! Look forward to more gameplay set in this world!

Thanks for checking it out!

You're so right about the SFX! I was so proud of my sound work in the game jam last year, I can't believe I ignored it so hard this time. Thanks for playing!

Cute little game. A little loose on the theme, but what are you gonna do. Sound design was satisfying.

Such a polished and fun little puzzle game! Loved the coding references/retro computer humour and imagery, and the ending was awesome and cute. Truly a 10/10 as far as game jam games.

Very neat. I like the idea of replaying sections with slight changes, like the moving bridges and powerup collection. But, unfortunately I'm so bad at mouse/wasd control 3d-platformers, that it's a little hard for me to judge it fairly haha. Loved the sound design with the reversing sound effect. Nice work!

Wow! Maybe my favourite I've played so far this jam, just because of how unique it was. I failed pretty hard in Act III but maybe that's part of the point! Really cool use of the theme, the "loops" of each day feeling similar but still progressing through life. Great work

Did you have problems uploading the game? Screenshots look cool but the download says it's unavailable

Yeah, always forget I should tune down the difficult for game jams! Thanks so much for playing. If anyone else is reading this comment and struggling, try using code SLO-DOWN. Might help a little.

Cute little game. The artwork is awesome, I love those fish, they need to be freed.

Really incredible experience! Such beautiful art and extremely well written dialogue. I love the concept, you should definitely continue to work on it, or incorporate the ideas into a future project! <3

Is there any way to complete the "first day"?
If not, incredible! It's effective as a hilariously frustrating horror game

Wow, so much content for a game jam game (full level editor!!), and great artwork too. Spent a little time being confused because I couldn't tell which direction the roads are flowing when placed. If that visual feedback was added it would be a very polished little game! Great work

Really cute game! It would be cool to have some sort of indication of the upcoming threat to Jeri, so you could make a choice about which safety device to use.

Hey thanks so much for playing!! Sorry the game is buggy. It would be cool to revisit the project with saving and all that.

One of the coolest gaming experiences! Such a cool idea, thanks for making this!

Thanks so much for playing!

Thanks for playing! Yeah more player agency would definitely be good, I think the speed up / slow down mechanic would be a good fix

Wow, really fantastic game. Great concept and execution! I could see this being expanded upon, cutting items into more than 2 pieces and whatnot

lol nice

Really fun!! The ending music is so satisfying I love it
