Nice use of the assets! I felt like the choice of buttons plus the mouse click was a bit awkward to control, maybe it's just harder on a laptop
The visuals and music are sweet! Controls are not so great but I see the gameplay style you're going for. I also thought the switching qwerty azerty was a little silly because it mostly came down to: Does this level make me use A or Q to go left? Keep working on this, though! I'd say just ditch the keyboard changing aspect and focus on what makes 2d beat em ups or 2d platformers fun: the responsiveness of the controls. Definitely gave me Blasphemous vibes
thank you for playing my game. i did the keyboard changing aspect just to fit the theme .
I appreciate the idea but the camera and janky movement kind of make this hard to play. I don't know if this was intentional or not but I couldn't move backwards at all which resulted in me getting softlocked at the edge of the screen when I needed to climb up some platforms.
Thanks for playing my game , the keyboard layout change every stage between azerty and qwerty so if the A does not work check the Q.
and for the camera , i made it like that so you can't see whats happening next.
Cool idea, but the camera kept bugging out and moving away from the player character so I couldn't see where I was supposed to be going.
Ok, so you know how many games make the mistake of having their physics too ‘floaty’? well here it’s the exact opposite problem.
thanks for playing, but i really wanted the game to a little hard so i made the jumps a little realistic
I think that you’re mixing up hard and realistic,as both things can exist independently.
It certainly doesn’t feel realistic to just zoom at least 20m below in an instance, and I’m talking about the very first drop.
The art style was awesome and the mechanics felt good, I wish I could have seen more of the level at one time though!
Great work though!
thank you for playing, i also wish i had more time to make good levels.
Great art. Unfortunately the A key doesn't work for me and I cannot move left.
Hey! I think that the reason that happened is that the keyboard layout changes as one of the game mechanics, I noticed that in the beginning 'q' is my move left key. :) (Not affiliated to this game, just making a guess!)
Oh, okay! Thank you! I will definitely go back and play again then. I was sad I couldn't continue :( This gives me new hope now! :D
