Everyone - this isn't this years jam submission. This was for Ludum Dare 46. Don't know how it's been marked as a jam submission.

This is the GMTK 2020 submission https://squeg-inc.itch.io/escape-the-werewolf

Cool game, I liked the idea that your life is been drained all the time is a nice way to fit the theme, as well the spawn of the enemies that becomes "out of control" real fast. I think that adding some "juice" to the game would be fun.

very fast paced and looked good! like a legit old school arcade game :) thats kinda the look i went for in my game :D

Never saw the werewolf and after 30 seconds in you become pretty much unstopable.

I always like a good ol' top-down shooter, even as simple as it is. I do feel it gets rather repetitive fast, it was also very easy to steam-roll enemies when you get enough upgrades which kinda removes the tension of fighting against a plethora of enemies. I do find the graphics charming, the wisps are easy to differentiate from and act in pretty neat ways. I just wish it had a bit more and personally wish it were more hard. Nice work on the game!

After a point it gets to a place where you can't die due to how powerful your gun is. This is a nice little base to experiment off however. Runs smoothly and looks pretty good!

the music was really good .

I end with a first playthrough score of 218, pretty polished game!

Cute sprites but could use a bit more in terms of visual feedback when shots hit (i.e. blinking sprite, sound fx, etc.). Never saw the werewolf form, but perhaps I just didn't last long enough. Only got to around 30+ pts and picked up one of the power-ups. Or maybe it wasn't implemented in time for the jam deadline, which would be understandable.

Notably, though, under More Information on the game page, it shows that it was posted for Ludum Dare 46 previously.  Is there some kind of mistake? Or a re-submission to a different jam since themes supposedly match?

I'm not too sure what's going on there, so I'll leave it at that. Good work on making a game in 48hrs (or 72hrs if you did the 3-day stretch for LD46).

Nice game, but those borders at the bottom of the screen really messed me up
