Cool idea!

I could not play the game at first, it seems like there is something fishy with your character controller, are you moving it with the deltatime ? Otherwise it won't move same way depending on the framerate.

Developer

you need to select if you see, hear, or move
by default you are seeing, in order to move you can either press 'm' or select the option in the top left screen

That's not what I meant, while having the Move option selected the player wasn't jumping high enough to go forward, this issue come from how you move the player which need to be moved with a formula like: Direction * Speed * Deltatime.

Hi dzamani,

First: thank for trying the game :)

Second: No, it's not deltaTime, it's physics based. So it's all rigidbody movement and forces, not frame dependent.

If you wanna try to find out why it's happening let's talk tomorrow but I'm sure, one of my computers cannot play the game as is so there is something.

Really challenging, I like the idea of limiting a players vision but personally I don't think it is the best way to do it. I find myself spamming between visual and move really fast. Maybe if you can move whenever you want but as soon as you start moving your vision/sound goes away?

There's definitely some potential here but I find it a bit tough to play.

Nicely made! Not sure why invisible platforms are making sounds, but I'm cool to run with it! The art was great and the music was awesome, good job with that.

Oh wow you weren't kidding when you said we had similar ideas! I do like the senses being mechanics though! Thats a really cool concept! Level design was challenging but fun! Graphics were cute. Love the main character and slimes (you fellow slime dev you ;D). Had fun playing this! Great submission!

I like the idea and the music but personally for me, the game felt a bit annoying to coordinate, the levels are nice but the space between blocks and the jumping felt a bit narrow.

Nice, we had a similar idea during our brainstorm where you only had 1 ability at a time. Glad you were able to make something around this mechanic!

Design[4/5] Good idea. But I feel the controls could be improved a little. For example by default you always see, when you use arrow keys to move it's always dark and with a special button you can activate your "sonar" to hear the environment. This way it would make less a hassle to move the robot.

Theme[5/5] You have only 1 ability at a time.

Originality[5/5] Not many games like this.
