Very nice art and great idea to use it in a game like this. The game is relaxing and interesting, but the pacing could be improved a little.

DAMN you art style is gorgeous and so inspiring 🤩
It has been several month (years ?) during which I had this idea of associated old painting/image with a game, especially using https://artvee.com/ but I don't get much out of it.
You definitly nourrish my thoughts on how it can be done !

Concerning your game, you may consider increasing the speed of wood cutting, as it's quite long.

Yes I belive there is a lot of potential in using public domain art... I also had this idea in my mind for some time, but real inspiration how to use it did not come until this jam started... So Im really glad for this... Thanks so much for playing and feedback, and interesting web link!

Very nice looking game. You've done cool parallax effect with the backgrounds. Like said elsewhere in comments, the wood production is so slow, that I got all my buildings destroyed before I could rebuild them.

This is ingenious. Graphic and originality deserve 6 stars. True hidden jam. The only complain is that wood production is so slow. Accelerate wood production, add more buildings and disasters and the game will be perfect.

Wow, I truly love this!

So nice how you cut out the images so neatly for the parallax! So nice the music and the ambiance! I gave you 5/5, this is just great. That's gonna inspire me for my own games for sure! :) Thanks for submitting this game!

Thanks for comment! Youre right, wood harvest is too slow... I also wanted to create possibility to pick up wood directly on the map - similar to HoMaM but I didn't make it to the time limit... Your game is really great btw...
