Very nice style! But did you update it after the deadline? Tsk tsk

Get the post jam director's cut. https://limnological.itch.io/dance-monkey-dance-final. Now with 99% less game-breaking bugs.

The current ai is indeed very simple. I wanted an ai that consists of a few python files for easier integration into renpy at the start. The next part of the project is getting it to work with some existing stronger ai program as well, to be actually worth playing with.

Hello,

I've done renpy UI and other code before (see my profile for past games, both renpy and other). Can also help with bugtesting and fixing. Contact me on discord Limniris#2331 or by email limniris1@gmail.com

Hello! There is now a browser playable version (and a 32bit version download if that was the issue) at https://limniris.itch.io/il-principe2. We can set that as the competition page instead or leave like this, with a link to it on the current page in the description, doesn't matter to me.

Neat idea. A reset button would have been a great addition.

Simple but effective.

Very neat

Very beautiful game. The gameplay is way too slow and, even for this type of relaxing game.

Cool little adventure. Feels like I'm back in the 90s.

Cool idea but some pretty big issues keep it down. If one just spams f all the waves spawn at once and crash the game. Also an in-game tutorial would be helpful, looking in the description or main menu for the keys is not great.

Cool simple concept. In-game tutorial would be helpful. Interesting to see scientific notation, some other way of displaying large numbers could have been more easily understood.

That was in the original plan. Might make a quick post jam 'directors cut' with added animations mostly.

Fun unique concept. The gameplay feels a bit wonky at times, like finding the right location to get the snow hit detection working.

Cool idea! The creation screen is a bit unclear, could benefit from a clearer tutorial.

Interesting concept, very original!

Seems to be firefox specific, might have seen it in some other games as well.

Cute game. A few more levels and different mechanics could really elevate it. Lovely character designs.

It closes on click/any key pressed. Sadly didn't have time to make a better tutorial.

Very fun idea, the physics feel good. A less random spawning position for the boxes could make it a bit more fun to play. Now you're at the mercy of the game for getting boxes where needed.

A good start. Hope you learned a lot.

Fun idea. For a typing game, a more easily readable font would be useful. It's easy to confuse u-v, i-l, with such a stylized font.

Very fun. The gameplay feels nice and the music and sfx fit well. Just need to get the death to work properly.

Lovely art. The movement is way too slow and not very fun, the beginning is also hard to figure out. Just speed everything up a bit and this would be a lot of fun.

Sadly deadlines are deadlines, so a lot of planned stuff got cut.

The art and sound are very atmospheric and fit the game well. The controls feel tight. Some issues: The text sometimes dissapears too fast to read. Also sometimes enemies stop spawning very quickly, so killing everything and only then collecting and building seems to be the only way to win. Great start for a bigger game.

Building and destroying is always fun. Simplistic art works for this. However the gameplay has some issues and the sounds are a bit annoying.

Very funny game and voice acting. The interactable objects could have been made more clearly visible somehow.

Fun concept. It could move a bit faster, also a reset button would be appreciated.

Like the game, love the music. Some hitboxes seem a bit inaccurate to the sprites, also the birds seem to have a flashing 1 pixel in the bottom-left corner that is hittable (one assumes by accident).

Great game! Mostly very tight and fun platforming. Some hitboxes feel a bit off.

Very nice. Add some calm music and a bit more stuff to do / gameplay elements and it would be a nice relaxation game. It might be fun to learn more about the flowers, a little explanation of each flower in nature?

Very good art. The gameplay is a bit lacking and 1 button for both attack and items doesn't feel good.

Good visuals and sound. However the walk is very slow, there's a lot of empty space and the objectives are very unclear. Gameplay feels unfinished.
