I do like that cover mechanic. It could maybe do with variable height jumping, but it's a solid platformer nonetheless <3

The cover mechanic is too much useful in my opinion, like, each time I see an enemy, I press down and voilá. Might be more interesting if I have to press it at the right time or I have a cooldown or something to not be so powerful. The moving platforms were hard but managed to jump over them and the level design was ok. Maybe too much changes of terrains in a short period of time and the night bg is a bit hard to look. I lost in the night level and started in the previous one, not sure if intentional.

Going back a level is my way of making death actually matter without a checkpoint system since the levels are so small. I thought the night level was a bit hard to look at also. If I expand/make a sequel I will defiantly balance the cover mechanic to fit the game better.

The protection mechanic is nice, not something you see often in a platformer. The graphics remind me more of an Atari 2600 game, which is not a bad thing at all really.

Very nice platformer. The only thing that bothers me is, when i die i start in the previous level.

Me too I really love the protection idea! It's a really fun game, well done! If I may give you an advice, making the jump a bit more realistic by using an acceleration & gravity is quite simple and makes it feel so much better than just a constant speed going up and down. But other than that, a great submission!

Cool! The game works and I really like the protect mechanic, is something pretty uncommon.
