I liked it and feel a bit frustrated once the gameplay loop was over, way too soon. Otherwise it's a really good game, relaxing and simple !

This was super cool! I liked collecting resources and building things! I missed the controls the first time around, so I didn't realize that I could also rotate the planet with my mouse wheel since the planet was spinning on its own. I also didn't realize I could only build on certain spots, so I thought the game glitched out and I had to restart.
Once I built one of everything I was unsure what to do next and I was unsure what each building did and why I would want to build any aside from houses and mills.
I wish the volcano in the background was something I could have interacted with - that would be fun!
A good idea may be a way to speed up the rotation when using the mouse wheel. I had to really crank it to move the planet where I needed to.
A fun game and I was glad I got to play it! Great job on the game!
Really good game! The art and animations are really good. I wanted to build a castle but I ran out of space! It would be really cool if there was a way to destroy old buildings. Overall a great game!
Really cool game, has mobile game potential maybe add more planets
Nice idea, I've always liked the look of these revolving worlds type of game ! It fits the theme perfectly !
I really like the way the buildings spawn, it's so satisfying ! ^^
I had a small issue where I couldn't strike and gather the resources if they are too close to a building (I assume they are on a layer in front of the resources, hence preventing the click from actually triggering the action).
With more developement it could end up as a nice little game !
Have a good one ! :)
Very nice concept! I struggled with a few things though - the game crashed when i tried to run in full screen. I wasn't sure if we're supposed to be able to replace buildings or upgrade them in some way? Also I couldn't figure out why my villagers were leaving. I'm sure this could be developed a lot more, great start!
This has come such a long way from the start. I really like how it feels to scroll the world around with the mouse wheel. Getting to place buildings is nice and the sounds for the chopping and mining are good. Is there a way to delete buildings you've already placed? I couldn't figure out how to get rid of buildings when I realized I ran out of room to be able to put a castle and have enough people for it. Also I couldn't find a way to "cancel" placing a building, so if I clicked on one I was sort of stuck having to place it.
Hi there and thanks for playing my game. There are lots of features outstanding as you might know would happen with a game jam.
I did not build a way to delete the buildings, however that might come in the future for this game.
Also for now if you want to cancel building a certain building you can just chop a tree or a rock while having the placement thing in hand.
Thank you so much for your support and for the feedback.
PS: I added the castle building in the last hour of this jam. CRUNCH TIME!
On Arch Linux this ran flawlessly with 0 intervention needed.
Solid idea, I'd want to see this expanded further.
The character didn't feel the most responsive to what I was chopping down / killing / mining but other than that I had a great time with this game!
To be honest, I didn’t really understand what to do. I kept destroying the trees, but it was painful for my fingers/hands. I also couldn’t build freely, and even after getting 10 villagers, I still couldn’t build the castle. But I like the idea — it has potential and matches the theme perfectly
It was a great relaxing experience with a lot of potential! Played for 15min, until my world became devoid of natural resources, hahaha! I have some questions, though:
- Can you only build in the brow-nish circular spaces? I tried to build in other places and was not able to.
- What does the seige tower do? I've got to a point that I have destroyed everything in the world and wasn't able to build on the free spaces. Since I didn't know what the seige tower do, I had this feeling that i could put something else instead of it
- How can I spend the gold?
Thanks for the good feedback.
Well to be honest I had to de scope a lot of things.
Some of these things where:
- Have the ability to regrow trees,
- To be able to remove building.
- Have more control over the villagers
- Have a weather system which would provide water to plants like trees and crops
- Have income meteors or enemies of some kind to defend against.
- Also have the ability to build anywhere.
- Be able to upgrade building with the gold.
But maybe I will take this project further and build those things
