I loved walking around the bad guys in a circle so theyd shoot at me but kill themselves instead. very groood

That was a really cool take on this idea! Loved how the bullets continued to curve around the planet and could hit yourself xD

I found the key was to head forward and to the side while firing nonstop. The way the shots loop around the tiny world allowed me to take down the portals and evil clones without having to face them head on.

Fun game! One issue, that you can see in the picture, is that the Jam flair covers part of the playing screen. (I wish they used a shorter title for their jams but that's another matter.)

I didn't realize for the longest time that there were seven waves total. At wave six I thought I was done for, but then I managed to make out the numbers in the upper right, which gave me the willpower to see things through to the end.

Really enjoyed the game, especially where your own shots can circle back around, adds additional jeopardy and opportunity to destroy portals without having to be next to them

I'm glad you enjoyed it! You just need to be careful and not get hit by your own shots xD

Good Job! Aiming with WASD feels a little weird though.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback <3. I wanted to try something different with this controls

that was really cool game and it was fun to play but the movement was a little bit hard to control and i felt it was super hard to do so, otherwise the game is perfectly balanced but i couldn't get past wave 6 :(

Developer

I'm glad you had fun. The last wave is the hardest one, if you destroy the portals first it can get a little bit easier.

As odd as it is to aim with the A and D keys, I think you made it work really well. I love how your missed shots loop back around the planet, it adds so much more chaos and fun!

I really like the way the shots bend around the world.  The controls are a bit sluggish, but it kinda matches the aesthetics.  Very nicely done.

Hi! Great game! I loved the idea, it feels a little weird aiming with WASD though. I really liked how challenging it gets and loved the visuals!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, the WASD aiming is a bit unusual, I wanted to make it a little different (and maybe a bit harder). Glad you liked the visuals and the challenge!

A really cool project! I ended up hitting myself quite a few times too, haha. But well done—the enemy AI seems to work great, and the waves get challenging quickly. The projectiles look really nice, and I love that you can actively block shots. Great Work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! I'm happy you liked the AI and the blocking mechanic, it was super fun to implement. Really appreciate the feedback!

Nice little game. Did shoot myself a couple of times.
