Interesting concept on a card game. I would suggest being able to trash more at once and draw more as a result as some battles took way too long to find good cards to play, both for myself and the opponent

The Game was too good a very different take on the theme, but in opinion the battles take too long waiting for the card to make a set or seqence drwaing more than 2 cards and scaling the damage based on the sequence rarity can be good

An interesting system, and the game runs really well. It felt a bit slow to me, and the gameplay relies heavily on the cards you draw. Drawing only 2 cards per round feels a bit too little, especially since you need at least 3 to play something. The balance could use a bit of tweaking there—but the system itself works, and the game is very nicely polished!

This was cool! Fixing the full screen scaling would help a lot - I played on easy and defeated the first monster though I'm sure my strategy led a lot to be desired :)

I think the music was cool and I don't want to mess with your vision but maybe something more relaxed for the story mode would fit better?

Edit: wanted to say the menu and the amount of content you made is seriously impressive. As with all these gamejam games it's a challenge to balance challenge, fun and keeping the game to a shortish duration (but not too short!!). I'll come back and play some more when I have time, as I am interested in the story!

Enjoyed playing this! Music was great and can tell a lot of effort was put into each of the modes and mechanics as well as the story.

The only nitpick I have is that I think the cards, text, etc. is just a little too small and difficult to see and that there isn't any impact/juice when you receive or deal damage(perhaps adding some particle effects might help?) which doesn't make it feel as rewarding when you play a meld.

Otherwise this is a great game and I enjoyed playing it a lot. Great job!!

Beyond the issues already mentioned by others I enjoyed the game the only criticism I really have is the help icon didn't seem to work and it just needed a more visual indicator that the opponent was attacking. But I'd really look forward to this game developing more, reminds me a bit of Balatro/Pokemon

Great to hear that you enjoyed the game and thanks for the feedback. The bugs and issues took longer than expected to fix. Most of the things should have been fixed now, there are still some ui issues and the achievements are not logging properly and also have to try to fix the mobile responsiveness but the core gameplay should be working properly for sure, there were some critical stalemate issues before as the ai logic was not functioning properly and the melded cards did not add to the discard pile. I did notice that during gameplay the questionmark icon did not work but I have fixed that now. Later on I will most likely add a better visual indicator that the indicator is attacking, probably will show the cards which the enemy melds. Hopefully the achievements will be fixed later today. Later on I plan to add some easter eggs and even a secret boss.

I enjoyed the music a lot, though it was really hard to see with these old eyes and making it full screen didn't scale anything (had to actually zoom the browser)

Thanks for your feedback, I am well aware that the size is still an issue, I did have more of a vertical alignment of all the cards and icons but had to rewrite that, at least everything is much more compact now but will for sure need to center and increase the size of it all so it is easy to see everything without having to zoom in.

I like the idea behind this game, but near the end of a match I would get stuck with the same cards. I might be misunderstanding a game mechanic, but from what I could tell, it's easy to get stuck, no matter the difficulty.

Great to hear that you like the idea. I am well aware of the balancing issue, I am working on creating a fix for it so that there is a minimal risk of a stalemate from happening. The gameplay is based on Conquian but rather than getting rid of all the cards being the name of the game it is rather a battle functionality, I did not really have time enough to properly play test the gameplay before the deadline but will fix the issue today so that it will be working properly! Please tune in tomorrow so you can play through the entire game, solve the mystery and maybe even accomplish all the achievements!

Cool concept but I can't even get past the easy enemy. Keep running out of cards.
