An interesting game. I was slightly confused at the beginning because I didn't understand the language that the voice was speaking but I tried to follow along. Like others have noted I did have a challenge with some of the UI not being entirely visible on the screen - I'm guessing the game looks fine in full screen mode but has some small issues here when its running in a browser window. So I couldnt see if I had a health bar, for example, but I know I was getting clipped by those alien dudes and I also managed to pick up some health recover (I'm guessing those are what the green + must have been). Overall a nice submission!

I don't see info about life or amunition.

I had a bit of trouble with the scaling in my browser—the game was a bit too zoomed in, so some UI elements went off the edge. But it was still playable, and I found it pretty impressive for a jam project. Great work!

Hi Martin, thanks so much for playing and for the thoughtful feedback! I really appreciate you pointing out the scaling issue—I'll definitely look into improving UI responsiveness across different screen sizes. Glad to hear it was still playable, and I'm really happy you enjoyed it, especially as a jam project. Thanks again!

FPS – it’s the first time I’ve seen this type of game in this jam (though that doesn’t mean it’s the only one 😄). Hit detection isn’t very accurate. After a restart, I once had a situation where the character moved backward on its own and I couldn’t control it.

Overall, the game is quite challenging. Congrats on the idea and finishing the game!

I could handle the mouse movement but then I can't really play FPS games. Looked good at the start but just me that can't do these games, nicely done however.

Developer

Thanks for giving it a try, even if FPS-style controls aren’t your thing—I really appreciate it! Totally understandable, and I’m glad you still found it visually appealing. Thanks again for the kind words!

It is not easy to do a "Doom" game.

Found it hard avoiding getting hit. I liked the 2D art at the beginning. Well done.

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! Yeah, the difficulty could definitely use some balancing—I’ll be tweaking that for sure. Really glad you liked the 2D art at the start, and I appreciate the kind words!
