Nice fun concept. Enjoyed the puzzle element and how each level felt like a new challenge. Would be great to have some sound effects for feedback when placing items or clicking buttons. Also, an undo feature would help with experimenting. Overall, really solid effort for a jam game!

Very cool and challenging game! Well done.

Great concept, great implementation, but for me level 3 started with 0 of everything so it was unbeatable

I really like this idea and concept! Just wish it could have been fleshed out a little more or the controls could have been a little better, being able to undo or pick back up your stuff before hitting next turn for example.

I love the idea to have to puzzle through each placement. Only thing it could lack it some sounds, and some UI about traps and enemy. And then you just improve on it !

This is one of my favorite concepts so far for all of the submissions. I hope you make a larger version of the game after this!

There was a typo I believe for the word 'obstacle' in the 'choose placements' menu.

A fun game for me, I love how each level can be unique and made by me the Player, The only thing I can say is I wish this game was bigger, this is one of smaller scope games I've seen. otherwise it's a great game

thanks so much for the feedback. This was my first jam and didn't have much time to dedicate but I agree the scope is quite small.

A pleasant experience! The music was really chill but some sound effects would really bring up the auditory experience :). Fun puzzle game over all though and would love to see how this could be expanded with other dynamics such as randomly regained props or what not. Awesome job!

thanks you! Had so many ideas but tried to keep the scope short and doable, sound effects would have been good. Thanks for the feedback

Interesting little puzzle game. But please add some feeback to interaction. A little sound effect on clicking buttons or placing something in the level.

Developer

thanks for playing, yeah it was in my Todos but got distracted with irl stuff and didn't get to it.

Quite the interesting puzzle game. Took me a while to understand how to use the enemies, since it never slowed the hero down but once that clicked + the fact that I can save resources by having the player move first and only then blocking his path I finally could finish it.

Great job!

Thank you for playing, glad you were able to figure it out!

i wasn't a fan of how small the gameplay was, HOWEVER it is 100% in theme if that was the reason why lol 100% just my opinion, i think you did a great job and it was very creative!

Developer(+1)

thank you for playing the game, I might have gone too far with the theme lol

haha it was very clever, i just have bad eye sight myself, but I like finding unique little games too, so I'm torn! xD
