Played it through to the end and enjoyed the game. The graphics style reminded me of the old pokemon games. Good job.

Cute game with a cute story! Also well done with the dialogues and environment design.
This was so nice!! I loved the aesthetics of the world and I really really liked your dialogue, it was so funny! I did encounter a bug upon finding the milk, though, as the quest marker didn't update and it still read as (0/1), but that's alright, we understand the assignment LOL!! I also got a bit confused as to how to get the berries - I thought we had to shake the trees - but it was cool that we could venture east to reach the forest! Speaking of which, I very much loved the way you mapped out the town, it really did feel like a mini quest for milk we embarked on, haha~ I really enjoyed your game, it brought some nice GBA vibes too, great job!
Cool game. I really enjoyed the art. I was a bit lost when they said to go to the forest to find the berries. I just wasn't sure what berries were supposed to look like. I was walking around town trying to pick up like flowers and stuff. But I eventually got it :). I thought I was supposed to break the road blocks with the axe in the forest but no there was just a path in the trees. Idk why but the way the objective was written made me think it was more than that. Or maybe it was? and I just found an alternative way to complete it. But I got the milk!
Tahn you for playing my my and giving feedback! Yeah in hindsight ı should have give some visual clues for berries. Also ı left a path open on purpose so that players can find it. there was also an option to get a pickaxe from the bazaar to get rid of the stones. I tried to word it as open as possible, happy to see it made you think that there was more to it.
The boy's daydream of going on a quest fits the jam theme quite well. As for feedback, I think the inside of the house is a bit too spacious. Maybe lookup floor plans as reference when you design the layout of the house. Secondly, a visual cue as to what the berries look like may be helpful to the player. Good job on the game.
Thank you for your feedback. I also thought that ı should have added a visual clue for the berries but time limit caught up to me. ı wasted too much time in level design and asset search. I do think the house is a bit big too, I made it big to gain some gamplay time at the start but then ı didnt have enough time to finish. Also the project kinda changed in the middle again bevause of time limitations.
I really like the music, art, and animation you did a great job on that one. the issue is that once I am moving the character eventually stops moving until sometimes or I continuously tap the E button now I don't know if it's the dialogue system and I don't know if it's intentional but proving the visual feedback will be very nice. Would you mind trying out my game and rating it according :).
In the Html, the dialogue cut off and that make me I think I'm stuck and cant move. Thanks to the window build, I can see the dialogue. I love the art and love the transition from house to the outside. Good job for finishing the game!
It's a nice looking game but unfortunately I couldn't really play because the dialogue was cut off for me, even when I expanded to full screen. :( If you're using UI canvas in Unity, you should be able to fix that by setting the canvas scaler to Scale With Screen Size and the reference resolution to match the resolution you are using for your game. Sorry I couldn't give feedback on more of the game, but I only have a laptop and I don't have another monitor I could play on.
Fun, short game. Nice little adventure with a few neat quests. Good story. Nice work!
Really enjoyed the game and thought it was fun. I love the way the game looks and the way the character controls.
The web build does have a bug where the doors disappear around town after you get the milk, but you can still enter the buildings. Well done and very enjoyable!
Very cute pixel art game! I liked the dimension being the little boys imagination being on a quest :) Such a good element to make such a simple task feel like a great mission.
Once I collected all those berries and came back to town and got that dialogue before entering the guild, all the doors/etc disappeared somehow :D
Also had these weird black lines appearing when I was walking every now and then.
Overall I like the game and the story tied well with the theme! :)
It was dificult to understand the button for skip the dialogue. I didn't read your game page before playing XD.
I had problems with the scale of screen. I couldn't see all the game. Maybe it was because my monitor is 1600x900.
However, I really like the game history. How much job for breakfast hahaha!
That was fun story. I did run into some issues where I got stuck in some dialog twice and I couldn't advance the conversation. So I had to close the game and restart. Overall, good job with your game submission.
I see. its probably an interaction problem rather than dialogue problem. ı was aware of the problem but ı thought it was fixed. my CircleCast2D range is probably the cause but ı wasnt able to fix it. This is actually my first 2d game in unity. I have experience in 3d and vr but not on 2d :D. I am actually gonna get a 2d course from this game jam :D. Also tank you for your feedback.
Nice, one of the few games so far that tell you a story! I'm glad the main character went to buy milk and not his dad :D
I liked the effect when the dimension changed after leaving the house, but I wish you had done more with that. Maybe you can extend that a bit in the future?
Really enjoyable. My favorite game so far. It was the entire package. I also love milk.
