All character models and animations are from Mixamo: https://www.mixamo.com. The fire particle effects are based off the fire particle effects in the unreal engine starter content. Sound effects are from various SONNISS GameAudioGDC bundles I found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/gamedev/comments/11weehj/40gb_of_high_quality_sound_effects_the_sonniss/. All other assets were created myself.

Really enjoyed this, no idea why but I just kept thinking how satisfying the combat felt, like maybe the hit box or something lol. Anyway great job! If you want to watch the playthrough I posted it on youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC81SImIj53NmLMrIXvBsACw gamedevtv final reviews, timestamp 34:08
Thanks for the feedback - I really enjoyed watching the playthrough on youtube!
The combat was pretty fun! Nice game! 😎
Good Game :D
Nice one
Thanks for taking the time to try the game!
This was good fun. Quite satisfying lining up a bunch of enemies then slowing time and going behind them for a single hit.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing
This was a lot of fun. Elder got me the first time but I cheekily rushed past the guards on my second try and concentrated on the prize :) Nice one.
Thanks for playing
Rated. Thanks for playing!
Thanks for playing!
I like the concept but I don't like that the main "power" is limited in total use - I would prefer a limited time use with a cooldown so you have to time the usage correctly but have another chance should you waste it
Interesting idea. Perhaps a cooldown, or the energy bar recharges over time? I'll have a think about how it might work. Thanks for the feedback
Happy to give feedback - be sure to check out my game before the rating period is over!
The mechanic is really fun. Love how the enemy can friendly fire. As other have said before, the player model is out of place. The visual effects and animations are nice. Good use of sound effects.
Great game.
Thanks for the feedback!
Great Game, love the gameplay mechanics and the visual effects.
Thanks for playing!
Good game! I liked the visual effects and the animations. However, the player model is out of place. Other than that, I actually really wanted this to be a stealth game. Instead of slowing time, for example, you turn invisible with the dimension shift and navigate the guards to get to the wizard. I can't help but feel stealth matches the story way more. But good execution anyway :D
Thanks for playing. Yep I agree the player model is a little out of place. I'll look at replacing it with something more suitable after the jam completes.
Interesting concept and really fun! I think the game would be even better with a tutorial level to introduce the game mechanics. I kind of had to figure it out by trial and error because I didn't understand what the dimension shifting mechanic actually did. I think it makes you invincible but not invisible? Anyway, this was fun and has lots of potential, so I hope you keep working on it!
Thanks for the feedback. I'll look into adding some sort of tutorial messages for the first level
Thanks for the feedback related to the performance issues. These should be resolved in version 1.0.1 - now available for download.
nice art and level designs and great mechanics D. Would you mind trying out my game and rating it according :).
Thanks for playing. I'll take at look at your game
you are welcome. Thank you too :)
The time slow mechanic is pretty cool, I liked using it even if it wasn't necessary to win. The gore plus the ragdolls were a fun touch as well, nice job!
Thanks for the feedback.
Neat game! I am a sucker for gore games, so I liked it specially :)
Game was a bit laggy, but it's understandable since you probably didn't have time to optimize the graphics
Thanks for playing! I'm going to work on optimisation over the weekend to hopefully make things run a bit smoother.
I did die a bit to lag, so I should use that excuse to buy a new graphics card :). Still fun and I like the time slow mechanic. Good Work!
Thanks for playing. I will hopefully get the game optimised a bit more soon.
I had a good time with this! I like the 3rd person controller and the slow time mechanic was cool. Congrats on a fun game!
Thanks for the feedback!
pretty good game. don't know why but I'm a little bit lagging (16gb ram, NVidia GTX 1050Ti, intel i7). Sometime, I also fail to hit the elder even that I believe I'm close enough to hit him with my sword. The slow time mode was good, but if you make it the main "hook" of the game, I think you should make it more important because even without that mode, the game is still faceable. Maybe there is a platform that move really fast, and the only way to be able to stand on it is by slowing time or something else that will make your slow mode have more impact to the game. Overall, nice job completing the game!
Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the time slowing mechanic needs a bit more of a reason for use - I'll work on that in some additional levels after the jam completes. I'll also take a look into the hitbox issue you found. Thanks for playing!
So quite a gory game lol. But interesting approach you had going on there. I see how you slow down time to get more hits. One issue I had is on the second level when one of the enemies killed me, the camera had it where it zoom in very close the body. talk about a close up of the blood lol. Just wanted to point that out but quite interest you had there.
Thanks for playing, and for the feedback! I'll see if I can fix that camera issue.
Np and one thing, I had a bit of trouble running it as I kept getting this error. Do you happen to know what this is about. I know this for other unreal engine games. I try to go to the link but i have to sign in or so. Just curious on that as i encounter it with some unreal engine games.
Yep it's due to the version of unreal engine I used (5.2) requires that your Nvidia graphics card drivers are a specific version. You shouldn't need to update them again for other unreal engine games now (well, not until a newer version of unreal engine comes out)
